It's truly bad. Ngannou scored a vicious knockdown, made the best HW of this generation hesitant the rest of the fight, had him out on his feet in the 8th and clearly most people scored the fight for him. He was the stronger man in the clinch, landed the best punches of the fight, showed an iron chin absorbing everything Fury landed and busted Fury's face while he doesn't have a mark on him. For all those years boxing fans were so smug about this rivalry. If you told them a decade ago, an MMA fighter would drop and arguably beat the very best HW champ of this generation they would have laughed and viciously attacked you. Their worst nightmare came true tonight.

Wilder badly lost the trilogy against Fury. but not without showing that he's one of the most dangerous HW's ever early and late in the fight, and no amount of beating will make him quit in that ring. Joshua we now know is a front runner who also has a questionable chin, but more importantly does not have the mental strength on the level of Wilder. How does this fight go back when when both were unbeaten and today after both are on the slide? Personally I see Wilder sparking him both times. Say what you want about his lack of skills, his talent is landing that right hand and never giving up on that mission. I can't see Joshua overcoming it like Fury did.

Will you learn from this? It was all good to shit on MMA as a whole because one of their guys lost to a youtuber, rendering MMA a "joke" and "ruined". Now you just got a taste of your own medicine and all of a sudden it doesn't matter, it's "just an exhibition" etc. The insecurity began growing in the 00s and it has only gotten worse.

Now that we see how pressure/toughness is the real key to beating Wilder we know that AJ doesn't have that ability or style, and what we saw in his last fight was a combination of fear and boxing from long range. Bad recipe against Wilder even though he's got better fundamentals. He will have 12 rounds to time Joshua and land one of his bombs and it will certainly result in a TKO. Joshua can't pull the trigger anymore and Wilder remains tough to finish. I don't see how you can be sure AJ has the upperhand, it's like one loss against an arguable ATG HW has everyone writing Wilder off.

We already knew about Golovkin but I think it's safe to say Alvarez is up there with him now especially considering he's been moving up. Some still think that might be a weakness because of how he got hurt when he was very young but your durability definitely increases with maturity. They both took(sometimes walked through) each other's best shots and it was one of the impressive things about the fight. Too bad the decision ruined it. For the rematch they will be training for a 12 rounder, I don't see either getting stopped anytime soon, do you.

Since it's a boxer vs boxer fight, with it being a more worthy fight to hold this PPV record forever and so on(Lets be real here, Mayweather's numbers are never gonna be broken). Or do you want the Conor fight to surpass it(doesn't seem likely now but it's about your will) simply because you have your own reasons for wanting to see the record broken now.

Now that I got you here, most of you have never heard of Semmy Schilt, he's not a boxer but his left jab was a thing of beauty and I'm sure you'll appriciate. 6'11 and a lean 287lbs, he would actually use this as a KO punch.

The last articles I can find state that Hopkins got his title back. But the fight isn't a no contest on their records yet. I was just wondering.

Despite of how painful it was to see how the fight was going after round 6, it was refreshing and respectable to see Jones still fighting to WIN, and not just to stay alive. He was facing a lot of adversity. He was being beaten by a great fighter that acted like a goof and was doing to him what he used to do to his opponents, he had a large cut on his eye for the first time, and a shitty cutman that wasn't helping etc. Thankfully Manny mentioned this plenty of times. I remembered the 3rd Tarver fight, and as a fan I was crushed. Not really because he lost, but because he didn't fight like a champion troughout. For this one, I think this fight did good for Roy's legacy.

Very brutal fight. Arslan ended up in a bloody mess.

What is the latest era of Boxing to for us? There is some confusion at times about this issue. You can make your choice from the poll. To me, it's the list of fighters currently at their best, and have been for some time. Since they came up, to now at their dominance. Not Roy Jones JR. but Floyd Mayweather JR. Not Lennox Lewis but Wladimir Klitschko and so on.

After a long absent of vid making, I made this in a few days. The Top 10 Most Brutal Knockouts Ever(In my opinion) Comments/feedback on the vid and concept would be great.

First off, I'll say that i'm not speaking about all of Calzaghe's fans or people that think he's gonna win etc. But I have been seeing JC fans, and Joe Calzaghe HIMSELF discredit Bernard Hopkins' entire legacy and ability for quite a long time now. All because these people use this as an argument to say that Calzaghe is a greater fighter and that he will beat Hopkins. Not a problem, untill Calzaghe actually beats him. Then what? Are you gonna change everything and say Bernard was a legend, and great fighter, look at who Calzaghe beat here etc? I know it's part of the game, but this seems more like an overdose of anti-Bhop which will ultimately not add much to Calzaghe's legacy. Especially since the man himself is in agreement with his fans. Still, he took this fight and everybody wanted this fight. I myself and true Boxing fans will give credit to JC for the right reasons(IF he wins). But I feel as though it would be a bit redicilous if these type of fans all of a sudden twist their own arguments they had before just to glorify JC's career.

It's easier to do that when your opponent is making you look good, I think that's the case in the Margarito fight. The key against Williams' activity is to use your footwork as much as possible and keep moving like Quintana did tonight. Being a stationary target while staying on the outside is when Paul Williams looks good. The punisher has trouble against a guy that moves well. He has a lot of other stuff he needs to work on, but this was in regards to the whole 100 punches a round activity. His stamina seemed fine like always, so I believe this was the case.
