a draw may have effected a potential Aj/Wilder somewhat it now proved Fury , As everyone should of known beforehand that he also deserves to be in the discussion as the man that you need to go through to hold the the crown
I agree AJ still deserves the majority of Revenue right now , I’m just a dumb fan so these #s shouldn’t be taken as gospel
But let’s just say for example when the fight should have happend . Wilder always deserved a % and not some BS flat fee that Hearn was offering but let’s say he held no leverage as far as any demands to making the fight ( Location / Date / & whatever else they negotiate about) and should have received 30-35%ish
Today You would still think that AJ deserves the majority of the revenue , the fight sure is closer to a 50/50 today and Wilder has built up some leverage as well , and you’re probablyalso right if he clearly beats Fury and the fight does financially well , Wilder might be deserving of a 50/50 split or real close to it and if that’s the case It might even make the fight harder to make because both are on equal footing and would have to almost work as partners , the A-Side can’t just throw their 12 inch d.ick on the table during negotiations and he like “You want this fight well this what’s happening “ And the B-side ( Small d.ick ) has no other choice but to accept because they don’t have leverage to do otherwise.
Sorry for the novel and we rarely see eye to eye but as always a great take and opinion from you
Have a good one man
The AJ vs Wilder fight will never take place;
"DEONTAY WILDER’S former co-promoter Lou DiBella claimed he was fired by the WBC champion for trying to set up a fight with Anthony Joshua."
This pretty much shows Wilders intentions.
Wlad's a bad posture fighter, it's not even a hard fight for Deontay.
Robotic = made for the KO.
That's what Deontay thought in sparring, thought he'd teach Klitschko to show him some respect and tried to beat him up, Klitschko got irritated and sparked him out cold.
That's why Wilder never fought Klitschko.
Prince Naseem was overrated once he fough an elite fighter he got exposed. Muhammad Ali is the greatest muslim boxer ever.
Naseem Hamed;
World Champion at three weight categories with:
37 Fights
36 Wins
1 loss
31 KO"s at Bantamweight, Super-Bantamweight and Featherweight.
What we're you gabbling? Exposed as what? He got lazy and complacent fron dominating three divisions that he lost a single fight.
Do you watch boxing?
Depends how he looks. Loma hasn't fought in more than a year and had some injuries in between.
Loma hasn't really adjusted his style for anyone he's fought, besides learning to get dirty against Salido. He's fought everyone else in a similar way. If his reflexes are still there, then yeah, he can dominate Lopez into submission. If he's gonna try to do the same fancy stuff he usually does but has been eating Doritos for 14 months, then not a chance.
Loma adjusts his style whilst he's in the ring. His reading of opponents is second to none and he makes micro adjustments continuously.
Fury can't finish anybody with those powder puff punches. It would be a bad matchup, Fury is awkward, he looks odd when he fights.
AJ isn't nearly as skilled defensively but is an awful lot stronger than Fury. How much does poor defence matter when your opponent can't punch?
If it goes the distance, Fury wins.
I'd still say its 50/50 though, Joshua is much better than the shell of a man that fought Ruiz.
Fury can't punch, there is no way he could knock out AJ in 120 rounds.
AJ was vacant in his last fight, he wasn't himself at all even before the fight. Something strange there.
ABSOLUTELY Tyson by TKO @ 2:56 of the 1st round.
Nuff said...
AJ is better than Frank Bruno and Tyson took 6 rounds to finish him. No chance your scenario is right.
Lets say AJ is about equal with Frank Bruno who lasted, what was it, 5 rounds then 3 rounds? Lets say AJ lasts 3 rounds before getting brutally smashed. Probably get put down or at least badly rocked in the 1st, though. No way he could keep animal Tyson off him for long.
He aint got the skills of a Tony Tucker.
AJ is much better than Frank Bruno was (and I'm probably one of Bruno's biggest fans).
I blame Don King for the slow, painful death of boxing.
Before King we had all the biggest fights on terrestrial TV, Don King's greed saw all kinds of money making shenanigans, PPV's and bad PR.
It has never recovered.
With bellator the 2nd most popular mma organization expanding in the uk the ufc def running the combat scene after mayweather in the usa. Now that the ufc has Ngannou as the heavyweight champ a freak of nature ko artist with great story n late bloomer whos highly marketable
Oh, you mean the same Ngannou who just announced that he is becoming a Pro Boxer as he always wanted to be a boxer like Mike Tyson?
Doh.... didn't you hear that?
UFC and MMA orgs actually give their fans the fights they want immediately. Can’t say the same for boxing.
That's because MMA fighters are treated as chattel and are paid very badly in comparison.
It's easier to get a hungry man motivated.
I loved MMA in the early days, when you'd have a Sumo wrestler vs a Boxer or a Karate master vs a Judo expert.
When they started merging all the techniques it lost its magic and I lost interest. Should never have happened, each discipline used to be proud and honourable now it's all about efficiency and grappling.
I'd watch the old style every day of the week. If they brought in a strikes only MMA with no grappling, I'd be all over that too.
Watching semi naked men writhing and grinding on the floor just doesn't do it for me.
Bruh wtf you talking about. 3 guys on the current Ring P4P Rankings are white dudes (Usyk, Loma & Taylor). Being talked about P4P is doing more than "competing". And fook I think you could argue Canelo is white lol & an Asian is the 2nd guy on the list.
And black dudes can compete in MMA too. The UFC currently has 4 of their 7 belts held by black guys & 3 African rooted black guys at that (Nigeria x2 & Cameroon).
Not to mention Tyson Fury and BJ Saunders both hold World Titles.
Joshua got mollywhopped by Andy Ruiz. That image will never be forgotten.
It already has been forgotten, he redeemed himself and made Ruiz look like a fat pudding in the rematch.
Get over it, everyone else has moved on, why can't you?
He lost a fight, he came back with a completely new game plan and didn't lose a single round in the rematch.
Joshua and Wilder have both suffered humiliating defeats, Joshua learned his lesson, looked at his performance and improved himself.
Wilder has blamed everyone except himself, made non stop excuses, slandered everyone with zero evidence of his insane paranoia.
Joshua is the consumate professional in his attitude and approach and if you can't appreciate that, (even if you dislike the man) then are you even a fan of boxing?
When a man is pushed to beyond his limits and breaks, how he rebuilds himself tells you all you need to know about his character.
Promotional ranks? Reference to history? :lol1: dude, you are a waste of my time.
He has only fought 11 top 100 boxers in a heavyweight career including 10 title defences.
I could list the 27 boxers ranked below 400 in the world, but it is hard to get any in depth information about them as they barely qualify as professional boxers.
3/4 of his opponents weren't even ranked in the top 100 at the time they fought.
I'm not attacking you at all, just pointing out Wilders record.
Yep, you don't get more legit than this man.

It's not AJ's fault if American Heavyweight "Champions" are clowns.
He has fought everybody he needed to and made them look bad.
He has not dodged anybody and beats whoever is put in front of him.
If he is "average" and overrated how come he beats all the best boxers in the world continuously?
IF you can't understand that you can only fight opponents that exist and can't create better opponents when you are already fighting THE BEST IN THE WORLD, you are an absolute fanny flap.
Your opinion doesn't matter, I didn't voice an opinion. You opened with a lie. Let's dive in:
There's already a thread on this forum where I covered the ranking of Wilder's defenses prior to him fighting them. Because the lie Wilder's never fought a top ten is old and all you've added was an age requirement....foolishly. So if you want a detailed ranking for who where look for that because it already exists. For this, all I need is one and you are wrong. So let us focus on Szpilka.
Artur Szpilka still isn't 35 now let alone years ago. He was ranked 11 a full year prior to fighting Wilder. He picked up a string of W's in 2015 to bump him from 11 to 7 by August of 2015. He fights Wilder Jan 2016. By then Carlos Takam had bumped to 7 after his string of W's in 2015 relegating Artur Szpilka, who was 27 years old in 2016, to 8th when he fights WBC champion Deontay Wilder.
Not fought any top tens? Wasn't even a good lie.
27 ranked below 400
11 ranked top 100 Of which 4 were top 20
It has to be the worst résumé of any heavyweight champion.
He's fought a whole lot of nobody's and Tyson Fury.
It’s easy......
You offer him the EXACT same Deal as FURY.
50/5 we0......
First fight in Vegas. The rematch in the UK for 60/40..
If it’s good enough for a trilogy the rubber match determined by the Champion at the time.....
EASY!!!
Let’s get this DONE
The US is too corrupt, a neutral country would be better (not that it would go to points, but just in case).
Whites get mad anytime someone says something positive about Wilder Fury all because Hearn is not involved.
I don't understand what you mean. Are you referring to White people or Dillian Whyte (neither makes any sense).
Styles do make fights. Unfortunately for you and Whyte, Fury has seen Whytes style a dozen times. Whyte has only seen a fighter like Fury in his dreams, outside of history books and footage of the greats.
And here's another fact: going to the body leaves you more open than throwing at the head does to counters, and Fury is faster, has longer reach, more punches in his toolbag, and is a far better counter puncher. I like Furys chances in any kind if fight against Whyte.
I don't see how how it's unfortunate for me;
". Unfortunately for you and Whyte, Fury has seen Whytes style a dozen times. Whyte has only seen a fighter like Fury in his dreams, outside of history books......"
Well, pay attention....I see you have some romantic notion about boxing being a Hollywood storyline....
Fury has seen Whyte's style, but Whyte has only seen Fury in his dreams? So when they sparred Whyte had his eyes closed? Whyte made Fury cry from outside the ring?
You obviously only skimmed my comment, picked up on a few trigger words and sent a knee-jerk response which doesn't make sense in the context at all.
I wasn't saying I think Whyte will win, I said that is the approach I think Whyte will take.
Don't worry, you and Fury can go skipping hand in hand into the sunset of the history books.
Just remember that the two have met many times, have sparred before, have watched each other in all their amateur and professional fights, and know each other very well (the UK is a small island after all), so I suggest you adjust your prose accordingly.
I wanted Fury to win. I watched the fight (when it happened) but I didn't score it. I thought Fury won at the time. But Wilder landed a lot of punches too and Fury could have just as easily been stopped by many referees in the 12th round. So a draw was a fair result.
Fury ran from the immediate rematch and has embarrassed himself since by fighting guys ranked outside the top 20 and now he thinks he can beat Wilder? He lost my support the moment he started to fight nobodies.
Don't you see the truth? Why is he fighting guys outside the top 20? Fury has no belief in himself He is cashing in. He will lose this fight and retire. I've seen enough Fury interviews where he says "I am going to retire". "I want to retire and live in a caravan". "Retire, retire retire!". Truth lol
I'm no fan of Fury. I didn't care about the result at all, but he was robbed. I scored the rounds afterwards and at a push I could give 4 rounds to Wilder (including one debatable and two 10-8 knockout rounds).
I think the result was good for boxing, but it certainly wasn't fair.
Must of been really horrible offer if that was the result.
Was this the fight with AJ that could never of happened anyway, because AJ was busy the whole of last year fighting rolly poly Mexican butter bean, trying to get his belts back.
There was no offer, he was sacked just because he tried to make the fight happen.
What the **** is happening that people are trying to act like Tyson Fury didn't cheat? I mean whether you are a fan or not how can you look at the videos and the evidence out there and not see that he was God damn cheating??? This is minding boggling how a certain portion of people and boxing (ESPN) are trying to act like it didn't happen but it did and it's reality. Tyson is a cheater who tampered with his gloves against Christian Hammer. Failed a PED test and for Cocaine. Cheated vs Wilder twice. And some people want to say he's the best Heavyweight right now. All I know is there's a documented amount of evidence that supports him being a complete scumbag and CHEATER!!!
No he isn't, he gave Wilder such a comprehensive beating he didn't need to tamper with his gloves.
Are you saying (even if true) that Wilder would have had a hope of winning that night if it weren't for the gloves?
Wilder was a fake champion who was found out. Wilder fans have to either admit that they don't have a clue and didn't realise how bad he was or make up excuses like this one.
Whether true or not, Wilder was due a beating that night and got what he deserved. He would have been beaten the same way even if Fury wore two pairs of gloves.
What a killer. Crawford takes the biggest hardest fight. He had the opportunity to take on Porter but no, he will take a fresh coming of a great win Brook. Men this guy is the GOat. TBE Crawford. The resume speaks for it self.
PS: he has great taste in women.
I'd agree if they fought at a catch-weight but Brook will lose any edge by dropping that weight like he has in the past.
If Crawford wanted Brook to be dangerous, he wouldn't starve him first.
Wilder sounds like a girl complaining.... man up!
Hey, show some respect, you're talking about the "Bronze Blamer" here, a legend in his own mind.
He can't help it if he refused to even speak to Fury until after the contract had expired, after which time he screams for a rematch.
HE is the victim, it was probably all down to Breland or the FBI or Oscar the grouch, heavy eyelids, the wrong kind of house fly, slightly yellow carrots and rabid caterpillars
Its going to be a great heavyweight fight for how long it last:boxing:
Obviously not that great as the venue is giving tickets away for free (to try and fill the seats).
Sad that the fat slob that fought Wach is the WBC #1. He deserves his crack at the title but he's hardly a must-watch fighter
He is for me. It's one of the UK Heavyweight showdown fights I've been waiting for nigh on a decade:
AJ v Whyte...............✓
Whyte v Chisora...✓✓
Fury v Chisora.........✓
Fury v AJ..................?
AJ v Chisora..........×?
Fury v Whyte...........?
With Chisora out of the mix, the top 3 only have 2 loses between them.
I will feel cheated if Fury doesn't fight both AJ and Whyte.
