Obviously he has enough power to hurt and stop Teofimo if he lands clean enough. The same way Teofimo has enoigh power if he lands cleanly.
This reminds of people saying Tyson Fury couldn't stop Wilder. Unless you are packing Malignaggi type power, most boxers at the top level hit hard enough to hurt anyone in their weight. They don't keep their hands up and block/dodge just for show. Even Shawn Porter got "slightly" buzzed in the last round of his last fight by the dude he was dominating.
Without a doubt he can. He wants to punish Lopez for all the talking he's done. What better statement than to humiliate and stop the guy that everyone says would be the toughest opponent of Loma's career? It would be an exclamation point on top of the win.
He's getting stopped for sure. Unless he lands a freak punch of his own in the early rounds I see him getting broken down systematically and quitting or being saved by the ref. Little Gary Russell went all 12 with Loma after getting lit up and never went down, but I feel that Lomachenko has adopted to a more pro friendly style with power shots. Plus GRJ is far superior to Lopez.
Depends how he looks. Loma hasn't fought in more than a year and had some injuries in between.
Loma hasn't really adjusted his style for anyone he's fought, besides learning to get dirty against Salido. He's fought everyone else in a similar way. If his reflexes are still there, then yeah, he can dominate Lopez into submission. If he's gonna try to do the same fancy stuff he usually does but has been eating Doritos for 14 months, then not a chance.
Loma adjusts his style whilst he's in the ring. His reading of opponents is second to none and he makes micro adjustments continuously.
You know hoping and prayer pretty much equates to a punchers chance right?
Lopez hasn't show that he brings anything different to the table.
Guys with power? Loma has seen that. Guys with fast hands? Yep.
I pretty much guarentee Loma is going to drown him in late rounds
What else makes Lopez special? If he has something we haven't seen it.
Plus he fights with his hands down. Lomo is gonna drown this dudd
I don’t think so, unless Lopez just finds a way to quit on his own out of frustration. The longer the fight goes, the better the odds for Loma. I see him winning a UD. He may even get out on his ass from a flash knockdown, but I think he dominates.
More hoping than praying. As it is with most things in life.

Lmao.
Sure thing bud. You seem to think opposite. Care to share your thinking bud?
Or you just hoping and praying?

I believe it’s a tough fight for both but I’ve been leaning towards Loma for similar reasons I just think Lopez is still a bit green.
But yea it’s comical to hear them bash Lopez like he’s garbage yet if Loma manages to win they’ll go crazy talking about hoe impressive it was that he beat according to them an “ average” fighter.
I personally think he is overrated. However, if he doesn’t quit before the 9th round he will definitely go up in my estimation of him.and if he does the unthinkable and beats Loma you won’t have to find me I will message every lopez fan and apologise
I have this inkling like you were one of the “Loma is ducking Lopez!” “Arum and Co. know Lomachenko is gonna get ko’d, that’s why they don’t want the fight!” before the fight was made. Am I wrong?
Lololololol
Can ya'll see Lopez getting peppered with punches, fatigued, and the young lion drowning in this fight?
Let me know.
I See him quitting on his stool and blaming it on his mouth as he promoted the fight so well
Making an objective observation is not setting him up with little room for mistake.
Teofimo literally has a punchers chance and thats it. Nearly everyone agrees on this.
Let's revisit this

Let me know.Yes that is exactly what I think will happen and I am letting you know. I think Loma gives Lopez a beating and knocks him out.

KO is possible.
Lopez only had one 12-rounder against an opponent who didnt push the pace.
Lomachenkos style forces you to think a lot and work a lot to keep him honest.
And while Lopez has sharper offense than Lomachenkos previous opponents, he moves a lot less (benefits Lomachenko), doesnt box and move like pedraza or campbell to constantly keep Loma chasing and he picks his shots more. The less someone throws versus Lomachenko, the easier it is for him to read your rhythm and patterns.
I'm rooting for Teo, not for any particular reason, but I believe Lomas experience will prevail.
Teo seems to be enthralled with his power. Smart fighters, and Loma is smart, usually avoid big punches.
That said, Loma fans set him up with little room for mistake. It has to be on par with Calzaghe vs Lacy. So lopsided you want to throw a towel at your tv.

Where there are disagreements is if he can land it or not and at that point it becomes much less of a boxing discussion and more a race discussion.
Why dont you ask bazookaboy who thinks that you NEED to root for you own race because other races will be mean to you.
I've asked this forum before what Lopez brings to the table and do you know how many guys responded? Take a guess. Most of these guys have never even seen Teo fight so what makes them want to root for him?
