Power punches : Marquez 115, Bradley 86
Total punches : Marquez 153, Bradley 168
Bradley looked a little better that night imo, but to say you can't dispute decision is just ridiculous. It was a close fight.
Robert Garcia:
''It's a great challenge and that's what's we're up to. We love to train hard, we love to upset the world. You can't win them all, but I think Chino has a great chance to win it off.
(We had) Great training camp. The last day of sparring he gave me the best sparring I ever seen in him and if he's able to fight the way he sparred, then I have no doubt that we will beat Broner.''
Marcos Maidana:
It's not that I'm obsessed with Adrien Broner, just the thing that I really, really want in my career is to be the welterweight champion. It happens that Broner has that belt. I wanted to knock him out even when fight was not yet done, but to tell you the truth that incident fired me up, cause I'm not used to get into arguments with fellow fighters. But he is a provocative fighter and I really want for December 14 to be today.
In the past I had problems with boxers, with slick boxers, but I don't think Broner is such a slick boxer. He's talented, but I'm preparing well, had a great sparring partners and be sure I will make Adrien respect me in the ring.
He hasn't been tested by a true welterweight and this will be the hardest fight of his life.
:boxing:
Robert Garcia:
Last day of sparring and Marcos looks really strong, very fast, beast m***** f*****. I am very happy. He looks really good today, best I've ever seen him. Broner is hell of a fighter, we know we are fighting one of the best, but I'm very confident about the win, I don't see him beating Maidana, I don't.
Is Broner keeping the same trainer?
He was horrible in the first fight.
After second round he kept on repeating ''Relax man'' like 10 times which made Broner even more nervous. Later for some reason he was trying to put Broner's knees together which p!ssed him off :D
Then when he said ''We need a knockdown'', Broner disagreed, that means he even does not respect his trainer's oppinion.
If he wants to win rematch, first thing to do is obvious.
Broner threw 500 punches against Malignaggi and 400 punches against Chino.
It's hard to imagine him changing his approach and even harder - winning rematch with such a low output.
27-2 by end of April IMHO.
...not as good a boxer as Canelo nor is he as big, PBF is going to wreck shyt in May.
People keeps saying that, but in Floyd's fight Canelo weight was 165, Maidana was 161 1/2 for Broner. So 3 lbs difference.
Plus Canelo's gameplan was to outbox Floyd :D he lost the fight before it even started.
