"No One Can Dispute The Marquez vs Bradley Decision"
Kellerman said ^that^ in the HBO 24/7
I only saw it once but at the time I thought it was a close fight, could have gone either way. After the fight Marquez was outraged by the decision and felt like he was badly robbed by the judges, he went on record to make that known in numerous interviews. Who do you think won that fight?
i missed this fight and mr. bob arum wont allow it on youtube, goes to show you who really won, but than against i havn't seen the fight to form my opinion. i ll be seeing the bradley vs. pac fight so lets see whats up.
Marquez did well for a 40 year old above his best weight, but I gave Bradley at least 7 rounds, mostly due to higher work rate, and advantages in speed youth and athleticism.
Bradley vs Pac could be scored the same, with 7 going to Manny instead. Both fights were close imo. But both fights did have an obvious winner as well. I think Harold Letterman's cards for both fights were a complete joke, though.
Bradley easily won.
Marquez sat back all night waiting to counter something while Bradley was scoring points and putting rounds in the bank.
lol "sat back." You shouldn't make fun of people with disabilities.
I think it was very close and the only reason Bradley (barely) nicked it was because of his superior athleticism and mobility. He saw what Mayweather did to Marquez. He played keep-away with the ball as much as he could. Was unimpressed with Bradley in this fight.
I think Bradley clearly won! 8-4 IMO. I couldn't believe JMM even thought he got robbed. I was like wtf??? And HBO was trying to convince the fans that it was a close fight aswell. I hate their broadcasting. And I'm sorry but why does it sound like Roy always favors the black fighters??? I swear, I've noticed this for a few yrs now. It never fails and he was at it again on Saturday. I think it's wrong and not professional coming from what's suppose to be a non bias commentator.
Maybe it's because the black fighter is the one that's impressing him in the ring at the time...
I rarely hear anyone complain when max kellerman or another white commentator is verbally sucking off Pacman(BOOM!!! BOOM!! BOOM!! ...again and again...BOOM!! and another one...BOOM!!) or some other pathetic great white hype job.
People are always salty and offended when a brother is doing something special.
How dare that n*$$er be so good...BLASPHEMY!
If Mayweather was white, he'd have a Solid Gold statue outside the MGM and a National Holiday
as many on this thread already said.
First time i saw it live i tought it was really close.
The more i have seen it the more i see it for Bradley. ( and i placed ma money on marquez for that one )
Bradley won but it was close and I don't know how long he can remain undefeated like this. His past 3 fights have all been fairly controversial decisions. Just surviving isn't enough, you have to beat people.
That's the thing though.....These guys with the power edge can't put him down and the judges know Tim doesn't have KO power so for him to be able to outwork and outpoint guys while being aggressive carries more weight in their eyes. He can and will trade on a whim even though he doesn't have the power to ko them cold.
It's a blue collar ethic thing that earns the respect of the judges. Ruslan himself admitted he lost, JMM's head was popping back like a pez dispenser.
