Loves his piss. Loves his steroids. And definitely loves to duck.
Ducked Khan, Rios and Provodnikov. You can even say he ducked the rematch with Manny.

its true pac-fans have Marquez cornered on this one
and pacfans are real unbiased boxing fans they would rip manny to shreds if he fought a guy coming off a loss instead of facing the winner like marquez is doing
pacfans dont want to hear that bull either cryQUEz that both of you guys are coming off a loss and its going to be a good action fight anyways they would rip manny to shreds if he did anything like that
because pacfans are the most unbiased boxing fans here on bscene
Alvarado vs Rios=Alvarado win= Rios vs manny/ does that = pac ducked Alvarado?????
Morales vs Raheem= Raheem win= Morales vs pac/ does that = pac ducked Raheem???

Great action fight!
Will be there in person to watch the Great Juan Manuel Marquez aka pac-Tard enemy Number 1
I got to hand it to Marquez this feeling he is talking about I feel it too. Every time their is a thread of him here on bscene
and you get to see the hate from the posters he left with tears on
Decemeber 8 2012 Marquez:nutkick:pac-Tards I love it :lol1:
Floyd fan mentality:
Hes at a point in his career where he can do whatever he wants, I mean he did beat Pac FOUR times, got robbed like 6 or 7 times and he did work for it. **** everyone who dont like this
It looks really bad to turn down Provodnikov for the reasons we heard, yet fight Alvarado. Despite their fight, I don't think Alvarado and Provodnikov are that far apart, so Marquez is facing almost as much risk without nearly the reward Ruslan provides. Doesn't make sense to me.
Oh well, Marquez is past the point where it really matters that much who he fights. This one should have some good action, and it's a great chance for Alvarado so I'm sure he'll show up with whatever he has left.
Yeah, exactly. Clearly he's getting paid a ****load to face Alvarado I mean, he has maybe one more fight left in him after this, if that, so it's about the $ and nothing more at this stage, which is fine with me as he deserves it. But still, I just think there are other fights out there that pose as much, or maybe just a little more risk, but gain so much more if he wins. D. Garcia for one.
Marquez said during his co-host show ESPN "Golpe a Golpes" that it was at a CATCH WEIGHT!
So, he is ducking Provo, going to fight Provo's leftovers and at a catch weight.
He said that he is only going to fight fights that are meaningful to him and that are worth it but what does figthing Alvarado does for him? Nothing.
Clear duck of Provo.
Arum probably wants another fight out of Marquez rather than giving him Bradley post the Pac fight. Just retire JMM. No point to keep getting in the ring and taking more damage for crap like this.
I predict a controversial close decision. Alvarado is a good boxer. He gets in trouble if he chooses to brawl.
If he uses his athleticism to keep moving his feet in and out AROUND marquez (like Bradley did)... he will have a shot. He's certainly capable.
Marquez is doing the same thing when he picked Likar Ramos, Fedchenko . Taking supposed easier fights for the real fight he desires.
What a weird fight. I don't get this one. Both coming off losses yes, but Marquez could have gotten just about anyone he wanted. Most fights against any top opponents are going to be risky for him at his age and with his decline, but this fight?

Wow ,Marquez really has made himself look bad sense he got the feeling..
Well he probably got the feeling he'd get crushed by Provo....so he weighed his feelings and fighting Alv was a better option.
WTf is there to get? Both good fighters coming off an L the winner moves on to a bigger fight. And it's on hbo not ppv plus there both warriors who make good fights so why complain. Damn
Both okay fighters at this point in time. Honestly beat Provo and you have a legit claim for a big fight.....not fight the guy he just knocked out. Whatever I've been done with the crybaby for awhile now and feel he's vastly overrated at 147....vastly.
