I was really surprised he knew about this. Now the Filipinos' secret is now revealed. The AGI-METH! bwahahahhahaa
But also this made me smile as an FMA student. Knowing that the colt .45 was reissued during the brief Filipino-American War just to stop the rampaging Filipino warriors.
Then the Americans' get their necks "slashed" with their bolos thus the LEATHERNECKS by the marines....
The Mayweathers doesn't know that if Floyd fights Pacquiao, he is just going to fight an old fashioned but JURAMENTADO WARRIOR in Manny. He wouldn't know what hit him....hehehhe
I posted this in another thread but I think it makes sense here too.
He got his facts twisted. They couldnt stop them enough with .38's so they moved up to .45 after their experience against the Moro tribe of the Philippines.
Power - The .45 ACP is a proven stopper. The only other handgun cartridge which has demonstrated stopping power comparable to the .45 ACP is the 125 grain .357 Magnum jacketed hollowpoint. The Army moved to the .45 caliber bullet after the failure of the .38 Long Colt to stop the Moro tribesmen in the Philippines. Contrary to popular myth, the .45 ACP was not issued in the Philippines during the Moro uprising, but the experience with the Moros led the Army to specify the .45 for its new autoloader. The Moros used
religious ritual and body binding to put themselves into an altered state of consciousness prior to battles, and the .38 Long Colt would not adequately stop these highly motivated warriors. Moving forward a century, law enforcement is again looking to the brute force stopping power of the .45 ACP to deal the current generation of criminals, many of whom use drugs which numb the senses, suppress the response to systemic shock, and repress the survival instinct. While ballistics mavens may argue the merits of their particular pet cartridges, few would argue that there is a better pistol cartridge than the .45 ACP. It has been decisively stopping fights for longer than most of us have been on this troubled little planet.

I'm no expert but from my experience you should just try to get him used to the leash as much as you can before you try to walk him with it. Put it on while he eats or when you give him a chew toy so he associates the leash with positive things. Let him walk around just dragging it so he gets used to it and doesn't even notice it's there. Make sure you supervise him while he's dragging it so he doesn't get tangled up. About the loud noises, just expose him to it as much as you can and when the noises happen don't make a big deal about them just keep doing what you're doing. If you try to coddle him or make him feel better, his scary feelings will just intensify. My pup was scared as shit of every noise when I first took him on walks but he got used to it. Make sure he got all his shots too before you take him to public places where other dogs might have been.
Anyway I'd be more surprised if pbf vs. shane happens than if it doesn't. I still have my hopes up that is will come through. I guess I'm tired of being disappointed.
BS comments from some posters..you cant compare them off of their resumes
how can you..have we had a "Hearns/Duran/Hagler" of our generation?.I think not..have we had a SRL of our generation?..yes. PBF. and lets be 100% real..even if Floyd fought Pacquiao/Margarito/Cotto..ect..it will never compare to SRL's resume because that was a different time..with different fighters..
you have to judge them on their skill alone..& they are very similar..if they werent they wouldnt get compared to by experts/analyst so much..but if they fought..it would be a toss-up and would go to the scorecards..
late 70s/80s had SRL
90s had PW
00's and on..has PBF
That's the thing though. Floyd should fight the top WW but he hasn't fought a single one of them.
I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Even posted it in a few of the Clottye-Pac threads. It was my first thought when I heard Pac-Clottey was going to be held at Texas Stadium. How much truth there is to this theory we really dont know.
Mikkel Kessler was out-headbutted and repeatedly punched coming off the breaks by Andre "Billy Goat" Ward, while the crooked ref Jack Reiss watched and grinned.
Kessler isn't shot. He'll hand Froch his first loss.
Kessler was getting schooled left and right before the headbutts became a problem. Excuses Excuses. Ward will lump up Kessler any day of the week.
