What do you consider to be Floyds flaw??? He has NONE. I kno you know ur stuff so your response should be interesting. But Ive seen them all....SRR( the little footage that exists of him past it but still)....SRL....Duran...Ali...Sweet Pea... Man Floyd had chances to fight Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto, Antionio Margarito, Shane Mosley, Tszyu, when they were top dogs but he didn't. He made Hatton move up solid win tho, Marquez go BLOATED NOT A good win to me. Oscar win was good but it was boring. a Past prime Hoya is no Hagler. LOL Floyd has boxing abilities and probably is the most natural boxer of his era but that doesn't mean shit when you dont fight the other Great fighters of your weight. Leonard Was the most natural boxer of his era and we know how great he is because he fought the other greats Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Wilfred, etc.d I bet if Leonard fought the welterweights Floyd fought in his prime *Judah, Baldimor, Hatton, Marquez(NOT A WW), and Mitchell he would DESTROY them all. Floyd dominated them by the scorecards but didn't give a Beating to them. Leonard would give them a beating, dominate and destroy them at the same time. Just my 2 cents. Ray didnt destroy Benitez, Ayub Kalule or Larry Bonds. Kalule hit him a lot in that fight before the stoppage in the 9th round. I wouldnt say he destroyed him. Kalule actually won 3 of the 1st 8 rounds. It was 5 to 3 Leonard. He stopped Bonds in the 10th but it still took him 10 rounds. He went 10 rounds with Adolfo Viruet in 1979, 10 rounds with Randy Shields and Marcus Gerlado but i give him a pass because Marcus was a middleweight. So why woudln't Baldimor be able to last 12 rounds. Vernon Forrest hit him with the kitchen sink and still couldn't knock him out. Ray beats him probably 12 rounds to 0 but that's the same as Floyd. When did Ray ever fight a southpaw with speed? Zan Judah i think gives him problems early and he eventually starts to attack Judah on the inside and most likely stops him 9th or 10th round. But it wouldn't be a 3 round destruction. Ray had problems with Ayub Kalule southpaw style and he's slower than Baldomir.

SRL in his prime was awesome! Leonard was the naturally bigger fighter so it depends at what weight. I think SRL has the better chin and the harder punch so cannot see how Floyd wins this.

The way fghts have been happening for Floyd recently it's disappointing. Some people blame Floyd alone for allot of fights not happening but they're not in his shoes. Shit was allot easier when there were no PPV and everyone had a loss at least. Now everyone who doesn't have an 0 isn't worthy. The fans are to blame, the promoters too. Guys like Ortiz being managed carefully and still manage to lose while some very good fighters having to fight every month in the hopes they make a name and if they lose it's over. Pacquiao and at least Shane Mosley need to happen. I know Floyd wants them but then again... Why? I mean, if you had a job and whenever you done something great people would still not give you credit wouldn't you have switched jobs? What if this job paid ALLOT? Yep that's Floyd for you. Floyd is partly to blame for this mentality, look at the way his nuthuggers put a premium in being undefeated when comparing Floyd's resume to ATG's. not all floyd fans, but a lot of Flomos do that here.

Out of curiosity, did people used to call Leonard a runner? I wouldn't but you know people... Fact is he "ran" allot more than Floyd ever did. Currently watching the second Duran fight. If Floyd ever did that he'd be booed to hell. Curiously people don't seem to be booing Leonard at all! its simply because SRL fights the best! Floyd didnt fight Hagler, Hearns and Duran or anybody close to there standand, hand speed wise Leonard would show up Floyd, Floyd really should have lost to castillo the first time and Castillo aint up there with Duran, Hagler and Hearns. Sorry but for me Leonard is much greater, for floyd to get near his legacy he would have to fight and beat Pacquiao, Pavlik and Williams

Don't get me wrong, Floyd's skills are great, but knowing what he could do versus what he has done after moving to welter, well, it ain't helping his resume at all. IMO, Floyd gets flack not because of what he does in the ring, its the frustration of fans hearing him talk a big game and not deliver. His skills are comparable to ATG's but his resume just makes comparing him to ATG's a farce, a few good names and he would be treated better. It's allot more complicated than that today. There's pride, money, drugs (new), fear and all the usual troubles with huge promotions in making a big fight. think of it has a major company merge. Leonard was still on free TV, he didn't have to worry so much.
