I caught alot of Thurman's fights... his stiffest comp was his last. He got a lucky ko, otherwise, that fight could have gone either way.....

Same with Broner, these guys were fed sliver spoons while the latter had to work their way up the food chain to get where they are.

i def respect both maidana and soto HB but thurman's last oppenent was hella tough and there was nothing lucky about that bodyshot. all im saying is thurman might box sometimes but he is always aggresive he never "runs". soto has NEVER been known as a big puncher.

You're also right about the fact the JSK does not have the "guns on his hip like El-Chino" but I don't think Thurman will make him blink. Preach! I'm not saying Danny can beat Floyd, but Danny's best attribute is his timing. Timing beats speed every time and he proved it with Khan. It wouldn't surprise me if he timed Floyd and iced him. Speed is irrelevant, Just about everyone credible Danny has beat was faster than him.
danny's timing is great but floyds is great with the speed to go with it. I think its a total mismatch, having said that danny by far is the most deserving fighter to get the fight, more deserving than Ortiz, ghost, and canelo imo

Maidana may lack World Class Boxing skills, but the guy has the power, speed, chin, hustle and willl to get close and land flush against anyone.

Yes Thurman beat Danny, but it wasn't a landslide domination. Thurman is a grade above Danny who is slightly above average (and maybe just average). So Thurman is a C+ or B- who doesn't have much power and his defense/chin are untested. Pac destroys those guys...even at his age.
