BOXING says goodbye to one of its greats when Miguel Cotto faces Sadam Ali in the early hours tonight. The WBO light-middleweight title defence in New York will be the final act of a remarkable career for the Puerto Rican. The four-weight world champion has been a terrific servant to the sport and deserves to go out on his own terms. Click Here To Read More]
Although Pacquaio did destroy Cotto the first 4 rounds were competitive.
Enough to say he didn't have an easy time? Hmmm, I don't know. Cotto did some damage but he didn't really do much in the fight.
Rounds 5 onward Pacquaio beat him from pillar to post.
I guess no one has full blown dominated him from start to finish.
Nah, Austin Trout beating Cotto was the easiest *****.
Not true. When Showtime replayed the fight, they featured it with an epilogue, they showed Trout exiting his hotel room after the fight, he's visibly hurting and walking tenderly. He says to the camera (something close to this because I have not seen this video in a long time), I'll tell you what, that guy hits really hard. Trout may have won, but he took some hellacious body punches, which many agree Cotto got little to no credit for.
You idiots have gone mad on this forum with Trout... Trout took punishment in the second half of that fight although he probably took the least punishment of any opponent against Cotto. Pacquiao after round 4 was clean sailing too...
