I know that he shouldn't have been killed with a vape pen in his hand. Maybe they shouldn't act on these warrants at 2am.

It's not about the amount of warning. It's about serving a warrant at 2am, shining a flashlight into the face of someone barely awake, and shooting him immediately to death when he was unarmed.

The police have to have better procedures than this. I know they care for their dogs, but release the dog into the room first or something. You can't just pop someone at 2am and look to see if you had valid reason to fear for your life afterward. That just can't be how this should work.

I only mention the reason for the warrants because the cops had reason to believe he would have a firearm. you could argue against the warrant itself but I see nothing wrong with what the cops did in that video. Given the circumstances, if the cop had not shot he was putting his partner and himself at risk and probably should have been suspended.
