Barrera didn't even tell De La Hoya until after the fight that he was going to beat him with the jab; De La Hoya admitted to being at ringside thinking what the **** is this?

Even De La Hoya, well out of his depth against Hopkins, at least tried to make a fight of it and throw combinations.

This performance from Barrera may even lessen the money involved with a Pacquiao rematch because he stunk the place out and people will think twice, or it will cast a doubt in their mind about going to see it knowing he has the potential to lock the fight out.

I was more disappointed in Rocky for not applying any pressure and not fighting the fight like the seconf=d half of the first one. I kno MAB was content to box and move, but I beleive it is on Rocky to go out and take it from him, and he did absolutely nothing. I like Rocky, but was very disappointed in him.

Barrera is the established champion, and Juarez is fighting for his title. You must kill the King if you want his crown. Juarez should have done his job and taken the fight to him. It is not an easy thing to do, track down an elusive opponent and knock him out. However, Juarez knew or should have known that Barrrera was not going to get into a slugging match.

All this fight showed me is that Barrera should retire and that Juarez shouldn't even be in boxing. Barrera gave him a boxing lesson and Juarez was simply unwilling to acknowledge it nor admit his mistakes. Guess what? Juarez will make exactly the same mistakes if they had another match.

I didn't loose respect, but I was dissapointed with both Barrera and Juarez, Barrera should at least went back to his warrior style at least once, and Juarez didn't do **** to force the fight...

              Lose respect?

Damn dude that's not even a sensible and acceptable question for real boxing fans.

Boxing is a sport buddy and fighters do come in in different fighting styles and different fighting strategies depending on what's needed to get the job done, a victory.

Now there are brawlers, there are counter punchers, there are sluggers and there are boxers. And a fighters who has all these in his arsenal should be praised and appreciated.

Those who cries for blood all the time should be watching UFC not boxing.

Anyone that would lose respect for Barrera because he fought a smart fight is not a fan of boxing.

The only thing that I lost a little respect for Barrera was after the final bell when he tried going after Juarez. Juarez' back was turned and Barrera ,after running in the final seconds, acted like he wanted to fight.

That was a ***** move by Barrera especially after running in the final seconds.

No he won the fight fair and square. Just because it wasn't exciting and what people wanted doesn't mean he should no longer be respected.

you must not been following boxing to long because how you going to say that Barrera may have lessen the money involved with a pacquiao fight because of how he fought Rocky, Let me give you some examples Bernard Hopkins one of the best boxers ever but hell of ****en booring, winky and Mayweather these fighter all have had some pretty boring fights and they still pull some good #'s and get paid them big bucks, so i think you need to stop smoking that crack! Cause your dead wrong.
