Cause your dead wrong.
What's the point of having mental health institutions when you're just allowed to get a hold of the computer anyway?

Did you miss your medication today?

Hopkins' biggest gripe was always that he was underpaid. His style was not big box office and only the signature wins at the end of his career brought him better money.

You must not have been following boxing too long.

Knowing that Barrera may try to stink the place out will affect his buyrate. Simple as that.

    Winky is a draw?

Mayweather does average PPV numbers and is chasing De La Hoya because he knows damn well that without De La Hoya, who can draw nearly a million buys with Mayorga in a virtually nothing fight, Mayweather is not going to see that kind of money in his lifetime.

I never said I lost respect for Barrera. I wonder what other people think of him. It's a shame a lot of you can't seem to read properly.

You think you know what your talking about, All I'm trying to say is that Just about every good paying boxer has had atleast one booring fight and never effected their buyrate, **** even Ali had his share of booring fights.

And you're stating the painfully obvious. All of you are. The point is not that Barrera should have done what he did against Juarez in the rematch, and if you knew him beforehand, you knew that Barrera was more than capable of doing what he did.

The point is that a lot of people were led to believe that it was going to be a war and that Barrera was going to try and overcome a more physically dominant fighter. Even De La Hoya, the promoter of the whole ****ing thing, expressed shock that Barrera fought like that.

That is for a reason. Barrera shocked the world and humiliated Hamed; he wanted to humiliate him. There was no need to humiliate Juarez; stand and fight the man if you want to prove something. Barrera acted like he wanted to fight all night but as soon as Juarez got close, Barrera would land a job and fly off into the distance.

Don't act like you want to trade when you're fighting as if you have no intention.

Not half of the people that showe dup to see that would've if they'd known what was to transpire. We're talking Barrera here, not Pernell Whitaker.

I don't care what you say, hundreds of not thousands of fans turned away from that show disappointed as hell that Barrera did what he did, they'd have to be. Not all of them keep up with boxing hardcore all the time. They wanted to see the great warrior and look what they got.

I find the majority of guys who posted on this thread to be in big denial.

The fact is, MAB fought like a ***** and got a victory out of it. To the detriment of the fans and the people who bought the PPV. If they had knows MAB will fight like a *****, do you think they'd even get half of the tickets and PPV buys?

The fact is, MAB cheated the fans by avoiding to fight like an elite fighter. Instead he fought like a chicken.

The guys who says otherwise are pure dumbs. Let's use plain and basic common sense.

Even his own Mexican crown booed MAB steadily for refusing to fight. He ran, ran and ran like a chicken all night long. Even PAC when he heard about the fight chided "it wasn't an exciting fight" and if you read between the lines, that is an insult.

Also there's a difference between running and boxing. When you see Ali, that's boxing. Boxing is when you use speed, guile, technique and strategy to outmanuever your opponent and defeat him.

Running is when you use your feet to sprint like a chicken all night long avoiding confrontations and simply being content with using one hand.

            Let me reiterate.

            Boxing is not running.

What fight did you watch? Barrera beat Jaurez without hardly having to break sweat. He did so using the fundamentals of boxing with ease, showing again that he is not a one dimensional fighter. I don't know what your problem is with Barrera but you clearly dislike the man and i think that clouds your judgement of him.

                This fight was a shame.

MAB owed it to the paying fans to give a good fight.

Not run like a chicken for 12 rounds.

Seriously, if the masses who paid the tickets and bought the PPV knew of what MAB will do, do you guys think they will ever get that much money out of it?

This is a shame because MAB just suckered the fans into believing he will try to finish strong and not run like a chicken for 12 rounds.

                And btw.... for the ******s.

There is a hell of a difference between running and boxing.
Ok you lost respect for a fighter because he won the fight like a Great fighter not just a one dimensional fighter. He did what he had to do to win and get ready to fight Pac. Your not a real boxing fan all you know and think is Pac. And thats good but losing respect to a fighter for that is just dumb.
Plus you would have all the respect Barrera deserves if you had to say what u said in his face. CAuse you wouldnt even dare.

im upset about how barrere handled the fight. by giving rocky a rematch right away led fans to believe he's going to put an exclamation point to his first controversial win. but it raised more questions i think.

yeahyeah he won the fight, but it didn't really erase all doubts on the fans mind regarding the first fight. if it did, then these kind of threads will not exist, dont you think?

I was pissed off at first. But now, i think Barrrera did what he had to do to win. And if i had to be honest with myself, regardless of what some say and what i originally said, Barrera did stand his ground enough for Rocky to take control but Barrera just did to many tricks in their for Rocky to cut him off. Rocky gets frustrated by boxers, all has been, and i think he needs to change up his sparrings.
