Why do people say, "what would've Chavez done?"

**** JCC...He was just a one dimensional brawler.

Because Chavez is the embodiment of the Mexican champion and all that come after are judged in his shadow.

Barrera did well in their fight, I think he outsmart juarez by fighting in the distance and use his reach and height. he did not brawl because he knows hes not the same as he used to be 5 - 10 years ago. But fighting pac damn..... he needs more stamina to win coz pac is a hunter/fighter if he stops moving i dont know what will happen to him. he have to move from side to side and jab jab jab then jab jab straight to by decision.

Barrera was smart, and did exactly what he needed to do to not only win, but dominate.

JCC probably would have brawled, but that is what makes Barrera the smarter fighter.

hell no, no respect lost. He whooped Juarez without having to brawl. Why stand and throw when there is no need?

barrera did the right thing coz if he should have done what he did during the 1st fight then he would have been KTFO on the mat..

We would of all liked him to get in a war a mix it up. But he's the veteran, legend, star, etc. His resume speaks for itself. It was up to Rocky to make it more of a fight. But instead Barrera took him to school.

                      Smarter, not greater.

I don't want to see the bllod and guts of it all. I really appreciate the technical aspect of what Barrera did. But look at it like this: before Barrera fought Juarez the first time he was talking about fighting 7 more fights. When it came to the rematch, he's saying he wants out after next year. And he stands there and taps his chin and runs like hell after daring Juarez to hit him when he knew he couldn't take that kind of a fight.

It was a bait and switch. The only solace is that Pacquiao is too fast to let that **** fly.
