I know, but these weren't small, high protein meals. These were all-carb meals with all his protein coming from extra shakes. Kayes says Hatton could of made LIGHTWEIGHT for the Tszyu fight.

Yeah, he had to force-feed himself seven meals a day in camp for Tszyu.. which he struggled with and so they switched it to four big meals.

I'm not saying your wrong I'm just saying its not definitive proof.

First off I truely believe that Hatton doesn't have an real problem making 140lbs and would be able to fight at jrWW for the next few years if he choose to.

However with that said I highly doubt that Hatton has trouble keeping on weight. That seems really fishy and I KNOW that Hatton walks around at 170+ pounds.

I wrestled competitively in College and doubt that anyone who walks around that heavy has trouble keeping weight on. I am very familiar with weight cutting and gaining, almost all the tricks and misconeptions of weight which leads me to believe that Hatton struggling to keep on weight for 140lbs is hyperbole.

That's funny, because with the weight he goes up to inbetween fights, I would have thought he'd been trying very hard to make 140 for a while now.

Bare in mind he was borderline over-training for Tszyu.

Ricky was at fighting weight within a few weeks of the Tszyu camp. Losing fat is as easy as pie when you train with the intensity of Hatton, and even easier when your so hyped about an upcoming fight that you need sleeping pills to get you to sleep.

Or you could be sucking down dexatrim to cut weight, which is essentially like being on speed.

Criticise all you want, but at least try and be educated in your criticisms.
Sounds like an excuse to me mate.

hate to say it but I have to side with JuyJuy on this. I'm not saying the lefty stances might not cause problems, but he's dealt with lefties before.

So it's either the increase in class of fighter...or the weight. Or maybe both coupled with a tough crafty lefty fighter.
