That's absolute rubbish, he has no problem with the southpaw stance - I've seen him time and again fight against southpaws with textbook techniques and thoroughly dominate them.

You'd have to be blind or ****** to suggest that Hatton didn't looked absolutely hideous against Collazo, his agility and flexibility clearly just was not there and he couldn't get his punches off - he was literally muscle-bound. How he grinded out that victory with zero speed against a half-decent fighter like Collazo is beyond me.

      It's laughable to suggest that.

Did you not notice within 30 seconds of the first round that something was severely wrong? How Hatton could, well, barely ****ing move?

Maybe it shows how much trouble Ricky would have with a slick SOUTHPAW boxer.

We have NO way of knowing that it wasn't entirely reliant on the southpaw stance.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that there's a high probability that Floyd wouldn't box Ricky's ears off, it just troubles me that people on here add 2 + 2 and make 5000.

Now if people want to advance the conversation and talk about how Floyd can fight from the southpaw stance and how that might factor into a fight, then good.

Until then they're making massive leaps in what Hatton can and cannot do on the evidence of just ONE fight.

So I guess Hatton's own estimation of Tzu doesnt count either huh
Didn't Mayweather talk about Gatti being a C-level fighter?

You haven't got a clue what your talking about.

It was nothing to do with any southpaw stance, and nothing to do with the opponent. This is blatantly unless your a ******, it's blatantly clear to see that Hatton could barely move.. I really don't understand why many people have such **** vision.

Yeah, obviously. It was quite pathetic, but amazing at the same time that he somehow managed to win!

its crazy how majority of americans think thats how hatton fights. they dont even take into consideration that he was very badly muscle bound.
