Otto Wallin looked very impressive tonight against a washed up Dominic Breazeale but I don't see him being more than just a fringe contender at this point. He is just another stick and move Heavyweight like Usyk Oleksandr with no punching power.

Unless, he changes his style; I don't see him winning the Heavyweight crown like that. He must be willing settle down on his punches more and take risks if he is ever going to win a heavyweight title.

Where was this conditioning u spoke about? It would just be a simple loss if you didn't talk it up so much b4 the fight
Yep! All those years of asswhoopings have now finally has taken its toll on Dominic's body; He looked very old in there tonight. He doesn't have enough left in the tank.

Wallin looked fast and skilled. He lacked concussive power and faded a bit. Breazeale looked slow and I didn't like he reaction to getting hit.

Wallin showed why he gave an out of shape Fury problems but needs to develop and get some more experience. Not sure if he's PBC but maybe a fight against Ortiz or Kownacki would be a good step. If he's not tied down to one promotion, there are other options.

If Breazeale wants to continue, he needs to build himself up. A fight against Cojanu or Kiladze would probably benefit him.

Good, good win for Wallin. I see him as a solid "B" level HW. He can beat the Hughie Fury, Pulev level fighters. I think he struggles against any higher competition.

I think a Dubois/Wallin fight or a rumble with the Parker/Fa winner (Okay, Parker after he beats Fa senseless) would be really interesting. I would also really like to see him against Muriat Gassiev. That would be a fantastic gauge to see if Gassiev belongs.

I think Ortiz, a motivated Ruiz or Whyte beat him.

He has fought in May 2019, not active enough at all. Breazeale should just retire at this stage.

Many fighters weren’t active since Covid . If fighters were to retire due to losses we would complain they are quiters . It’s like calling a fighter a bum because he took a loss he wasn’t supposed to win anyway .

Out of curiosity what era was used to say a fighter should retire after a loss ? This is highly toxic .

Am not asking him to quit because of a loss, am not one of these dumb PBC cultists who are wrapped up in the undefeated tag.

If you are not going to be active you should retire. I followed Breazeale, he has had 7 fights in the last 5 years, in the same period Whyte has had over 11 fights. And no COVID is NOT an excuse, his last fight was in May 2019.

Coming out to fight here and there is not the life a boxer should be living.

                  .
the fact that he had man boobs told me he was out of shape andd eating big outside of camp. I feel like being out of shape outside training affects heavyweight boxers more then the lower weight divisions, I just feel like out of shape heavyweights gas out faster then lighter fighters.

Also didn't realize Breazeale was 35. Even for heavyweights that's still pretty old.

The problem with the heavyweights is Fury and Joshua. With 2 fights in 2021 between the 2 everyone is out of the picture. Then mandatories go to follow so winner of Fury v Joshua against winner of Ussyk and Joyce in June July or Sept next year the rest are hanging around until either late 2022 or 2023 which is not right. All alphabet bodies should stop allowing immediate rematches as the current modern day fighters only fight twice a year. If you lose a fight at the title you should need to win 2 more fights before getting another chance. This gives opportunities for more fighters. Fury and Joshua can always rematch further down the road. If you look at Hearn is always putting rematch clauses for his fighters this needs to stop as its becoming ridiculous now.

Nice to see that Otto is finally getting some credit.

A lot of the casuals on this site predicted the bum Breazeale would KO him
