The problem with the heavyweights is Fury and Joshua. With 2 fights in 2021 between the 2 everyone is out of the picture. Then mandatories go to follow so winner of Fury v Joshua against winner of Ussyk and Joyce in June July or Sept next year the rest are hanging around until either late 2022 or 2023 which is not right. All alphabet bodies should stop allowing immediate rematches as the current modern day fighters only fight twice a year. If you lose a fight at the title you should need to win 2 more fights before getting another chance. This gives opportunities for more fighters. Fury and Joshua can always rematch further down the road. If you look at Hearn is always putting rematch clauses for his fighters this needs to stop as its becoming ridiculous now.

Totally agree with the rematch clauses thing, especially when belts are on the line. There is a lot of fights at HW that needs and can happen.

Only if certain promoters are willing to put everyone together and work together. For me there are just too many active inactive HW around, look at Trevor Bryan that just fought recently, Breazeale from yesterday for examples.

Stay active, boxing is there life so unless they are injured they should be active. Trying to blame inactiveness on COVID is getting boring, if your promoter isn’t doing it for you then use the Ali act (Which applies to American boxers), just go out there and earn a living by keeping active.

Wallin has very good movements and an effective left jab. He made Breazeale look like a rookie.

But he needs to improve his stamina. He was out of gas in the last 3 rounds.

I'd love to see him vs Wilder.

There was a lot of excuses made for Tyson Fury but I think it was more that Wallin is a pretty useful HW with some decent ability himself.
I'm certain he is no world beater but he's decent enough & shouldn't be overlooked.

I don't for the life of me see him beating a Fury, Joshua, Usyk but I feel he's more skilled & a little sharper than most of these second string HWs atm.

Am not asking him to quit because of a loss, am not one of these dumb PBC cultists who are wrapped up in the undefeated tag.

If you are not going to be active you should retire. I followed Breazeale, he has had 7 fights in the last 5 years, in the same period Whyte has had over 11 fights. And no COVID is NOT an excuse, his last fight was in May 2019.

Coming out to fight here and there is not the life a boxer should be living.

Klitschko also had one of his best performances coming off long lay off with A.J . People were weren’t crying about retirement.

Yes, Dominic Breazeale took an asswhupping last night but what else is new? In addition, he looked very old, slow and should carefully give some very strong consideration about retirement because now he is a gatekeeper status. He is officially done at the elite level.

Breazeale was chasing Wallin in the end and followed instructions not to get sloppy ,he could have had a better chance to catch Wallin early but i think the plan was to just still be standing in the end .

Is he really done ? Nothing really suggests that with a long lay off and under a new trainer ,if a fighter loses to another good fighter he’s done but if he wins against easier opponents he’s doing good ? This is the crazy mental state of the forum .

If anyone is done it’s Wilder and his meltdown right ,didn’t he actually get beat up in the process ?
