Wallin gave Fury a harder 12 rounds than Wilder did 19 over 2 fights, just think about that.

Your right Wilder vs Fury shouldn't have had a rematch clause and then we would have got to Joshua vs Fury faster .. Haymon and Arum need to stop these silly rematch clauses.

The only Loma fight not to have a rematch clause was Teo because it was two Top Rank fighters and as Loma lost it looks like he'll never get a top fight again, why isn't Haney, Garcia and Tank asking for that fight ???

Certain low level over protected fighters Stivereme, Brezeale and Ortiz seem to get a title shot a week where as other fighters Whyte never got a shot ever.

I watched a PBC guy interview recently where they said if Ruiz beat Joshua again they would declare a PBC belt and let no Top Rank, Matchroom fighter ever compete ... look at Wilders title defenses all prior to Fury where Haymon/King fighters not one Matchroom / Top Rank was allowed .. Wilder even said publicly he was freezing a whole list of fighters out.

Rematch clauses aren't the problem in this case as the IBF will strip the winner immediately and if you get a 100 million why would you want to fight anyone else.

All alphabet bodies should stop allowing immediate rematches as the current modern day fighters only fight twice a year. If you lose a fight at the title you should need to win 2 more fights before getting another chance. This gives opportunities for more fighters. Fury and Joshua can always rematch further down the road. If you look at Hearn is always putting rematch clauses for his fighters this needs to stop as its becoming ridiculous now.

Wallin is ok, better than he gets credit for as he was unknown before Fury.

He lacks a bit of killer instinct and power and seems to unravel a bit as the fight goes on.

But he is a decent southpaw, nice jab and movement and has some tidy technique at times (which is more than can be said for many HW’s) and he could be a good fight for anybody for a few rounds if he had some more power in his left hand, as it’s very accurate.

Should Ruiz have retired ,he took two years off and defeated A.J ?

Sorry but I don’t know what you are talking about ,fighters take time off when they receive bad losses at times . Breazeales a warrior ,he could have packed it in ,instead he came back and against a top guy ,you guys just complain for nothing ,he should retire then if he fought a easy fight it’s a cherry pick..make up your mind . Ha
Have complained about those fighters inactivity in the past, this thread is about Breazeale not Wlad, Fury or Ruiz. If you don’t know what am “Talking about” then learn more about boxing and inactivity.

If you can’t be active as a boxer then retire. 7 fights in 5 years is not good enough, so you excuse about COVID isn’t good enough. Nor is your excuse with trying to deflect by bringing Fury who basically retired due to drugs and mental health issues, or Wlad who had a fight lined up for Fury but having to cancel that.

Not sure what those has to do with Breazeale poor inactivity. Your point makes zero sense unless you are his manager, which means you are defending your piss poor job or getting him fights. Your fighters is a professional boxer and you don’t see anything wrong in him having 7 fights in 5 years, last fought in May 2019.

It's about where I rate Wallin, in the B/B+ category. He showed he can compete with the top echelon of the division with his performance against Fury. Not sure he can defeat Fury or AJ and not sure he can avoid Wilder's right hand for the duration of 12 rounds.

I do think he can beat Ortiz and maybe even Ruiz. Wallin displayed some very nice foot movement and elusiveness which would give the both of them problems.

Styles make fights. I have a feeling that wilder would easily ha for Wallin but Wallin will always be a handful for fury because of the styles. Wallin has an average punch but his output is high and he has quick hands. Wilder has quick hands but has the worst output in the division and is is forever off balance

Good win for Wallin, he made me lie. Breazeale is definitely not the same anymore.

Wallin, Usyk, Ortiz are the best southpaws in division.

Yes, Dominic Breazeale took an asswhupping last night but what else is new? In addition, he looked very old, slow and I strongly recommend that he should carefully give it some very strong consideration about retirement because now he is a gatekeeper status. He is officially done at the elite level.
