What did you think of Larry Merchant as a commentator?

He was good. Anytime somebody wanted to duck and dodge the question, he would come right back with the same line of questioning.

I like calling him Merry lurchant because he be sipping on that booze lol. Love him or hate him he was probably the best interviewer in the boxing game. He never really ever hid his biases lol.

The only fighters I’ve seen Larry attack were black. Does that make him racist. Not necessarily but it certainly tips the scales that way.

And like I mentioned on another page, he laughed with Floyd and threw Prince Hamed under the bus after a fight "I want Prince Hamed next!" "He'll never fight you after seeing what you did tonight" (was after the Coralles fight)

Not much there and certainly not on the level of personal disrespect Merchant showed Mayweather Jr and BHop.
