If he’s way overrated how does he hold those records?

Meldrick took a risk and gambled, he should have ran 100%.
you dont mess around in the last round with an all time great KO artist like Chavez.

that said, 2 seconds, you can see why its always going to be debateable. But I'd err with caution BECAUSE Meldrick didnt just RUN 100%. His own fault, he had CHavez massive beat if he'd had a better boxing brain.

If you were impressed with the 80s you should have been around in the 70s. Nearly every relevant fight got made.

Unless that ring is the size of a parking lot, that is indeed across the ring. Your eyes are not lying to you. This is not a photoshop. Now show me a picture of Chavez standing 3 feet behind Steele when he was counting?

Wrong again! Steele asks Taylor if he is alright and Taylor looks away, to his corner. Do tell me where Taylor answered Steeles question, in any way.

Across the ring would be the opposite corner. Keep trying through. It’s cute that this 30 year old, correctly called fight is still breaking hearts.

For me Richard Steele was looking to do favours in that split seconds. Taylor was alert and back on his feet, he respond to the ref and it was the final round and final seconds. That stoppage was too convenient..

Taylor was alert? What were you watching, bro? He was staring past Steele after being asked TWICE if he was okay!

Keep fighters safe huh... this is the same ref that allowed Hearns to continue when Barkley folded him like a pretzel.

Steele is a criminal and hes responsible for the worst stoppage in boxing history
