I do think as long as floyd invests in his fighters its good for the sport.

Floyd has done a good job as a promoter. I’m not criticising him as a fighter, (best of his generation IMO) as a businessman etc.

I just hate the fact he’s taking part in these circus fights cause he’s hurting the credibility of the sport. Us hardcore fans can put them into context but the casuals can’t and that makes boxing look like a joke.

He also doesn’t need the money, the guy is set for life which makes me wonder what’s motivating him to take part in these things. I think it’s cause he misses the limelight.

i blame the US culture...of youtubers and influencers...kids making more than garcia has made in a boxing ring for unboxing toys.....more people care about paul fighting a 5ft 6 former basketball player....

The fact that there is blame being directed at floyd speaks to this post and how the US culture/youtube/tick tok/IG generation is failing not just boxing but plenty of sports.

People tune in for memes then the actual substance of a sport nowadays.. no d in basketball, would rather watch a flashy dunk or a clown dancing around dribbling for 20 seconds of the shot clock then see some actual post/footwork/or defense. Juju dancing pregame on logos getting more views then a lot of games.. the world has turned into a **** show

I can debate with Big Dunn on some things. I can agree to disagree with that guy, I think he’s OK tbh.
