Let me break it down like this. The last guy Wladimir beat that was considered the top guy was Chris Byrd. Now Byrd, like Peter and Castillo before him, was too small to put punches on the taller Wladimir.

Lyakhovich is like 6'1, 220, not nearly big enough to get leather on Wladimir. It's gonna be the same **** we saw with his last three opponents, all who were good but not built to beat Wladimir Klitschko. Briggs however is 6'4 or something like that and is a much bigger, stronger guy than Lyakhovich. Anyone who is that big and has a punch with some skills is gonna give Wladimir trouble.

Rankings shmankings, lemme tell you guys whats behind the numbers. Briggs is exactly the kind of fighter Wladimir fears. A guy with the size, speed, and power to get punches on him that hurt. Lyakhovich, however, isn't.

It isn't about who can beat Wladimir, but who can't. Is Wladimir taking an easier opponent style wise, I say YES! Not hating, just gotta call them like I see them.

        Liakhovich can't hurt Wlad?!?!?!?!?
Have you even seen Liakhovich vs. Brewster? I bet you haven't and only judging Liakhovich based on his record. Liakhovich had Brewster hurt worse than even Klitschko when he knocked Brewster down.
Wladimir is not taking an easier opponent, he is trying to unify the damn titles and you're saying that he shouldn't do it and fight Briggs instead because Briggs can hurt him?

Lyakhovich can't hit him consistently because Wladimir fights tall. For the record I have seen Brewster-Lyakhovich, although it was peculiar that you would ask that question. Lyakhovich had in front of him a guy who was not very tall and was there to be hit all night. Wladimir is a different fighter than Brewster. Wladimir is taller and will always dominant smaller opponents.

Get a guy like Briggs in there, or not even Briggs. It doesn't have to be Briggs, anyone who is a super heavyweight like Wladimir is will be a nightmare for him. Wladimir is content to fight guys who are small like Byrd and Lyakhovich, and thats really sad. I can't respect him as a champ until he beats guys who have a legitimate, logical shot at beating him.

Last time we saw that was Peter, and even then Peter had a style disadvantage but still put Wladimir down three times. If Peter was 6'4-5, Wladimir would've been out inside of 4. But of course, the height advantage is so pronounced that guys who are 6'1 and under have to get him with one shot, and Lyakhovich can't do anything with one shot.

wow, this buckethead is about as dumb as mule ****! The fact that this moron even thinks Briggscould be a threat to Wlad is laughable. Sergei would literally destroy Briggs. Briggs has zero skills, this is why he has never ever beat a top ten guy, hell even a top 20.. Now he is a threat to the #1 heavy Its sad realy, we havean opprotunity for unification and dip****s like this guy post almost comical stories about Briggs being a feared fighter It would be damn funny, if only these idiots didn't think this was true.

I already challenged him to write something so we can laugh at his illiterate ass, but I have all kinds of doubts as to whether he has the ability or knowledge to do it. Watch him cop out of it
