    Klitschko-Lyakhovich in November?

This is craziness. First it was supposed to be Shannon Briggs, then he got nixed and they started talking Maskaev. The problem is that Maskaev has mandatories and would have to give up the title. The latest word is that Maskaev is out, and now they are seeking Lyakhovich to fill an HBO date at Madison Square Garden.

What I make of all of this is ****!

Briggs is a dangerous and hungry guy, and he is perhaps better suited to pull of the victory. Lyakhovich was successful against Brewster because well, it was Brewster. Brewster is a totally different style completely and not the big puncher that Briggs is. At this point, no one is outboxing Wladimir to a decision, they are gonna have to KO him. Briggs can KO him, Lyakhovich can.

On a side note, Vanes Martirosyan will likely miss his next fight because of his wisdom teeth being worked on, but will be ready for his appearance on the Pacquiao-Morales III undercard.

That would be amazing. Fight in the heavyweight without US fighters even one. Belarus fighter win that fight.

I certainly hope that Wlad fights another champ instead of Briggs.

What are you complaining about? Fans have been asking for unification for years and now that we have one brewing that makes you unhappy?

Maybe u should challenge him to a title too.
I would prefer to see Wlad/Briggs, but if Wlad decides to fight Sergey instead, I am not gonna cry much, but for a sole reason that fight prolly not gonna be in NY.

Answer me this question, what does unifying the belts matter? Is the public clamouring for Wladimir-Lyakhovich? Granted no one is exactly hoping for Briggs either, but the main difference is that a fight with Briggs will be much more competitive than Lyakhovich. As good as Lyakhovich is, he probably can't beat Wladimir. Briggs offers a much more competitive challenge, one that Lyakhovich doesn't bring. If I had my way, Lyakhovich wouldn't be considered a world champion because what the **** is a WBO title? Ten years ago, the WBO belt meant as much as the NABF and the NABA. Wladimir is fighting a contender in my book, no matter who gets the go.
