I can only judge by objective data: We have not seen Briggs in a single fight against a top 20 guy recently... In contrast, Liakovich beat Guinn and Brewster, and hence is more desrving to face Wlad.

So Briggs is dangerous to Wlad. We get it. That doesnt mean he DESERVES TO FIGHT THE CHAMPION. Just because he's more dangerous than someone (sergei) who beat A LEGITIMATE CHAMPION/CONTENDER(brewster), doesnt mean he should get a title shot. I would think this logic would be obvious.

Well, I just realised something, I keep forgetting about.
America does not rule the HW boxing anymore, and that means, that if Wlad/Sergey will make more money in Europe, than Wlad/Briggs in NY. Guess what? They will fight in Europe. And if average american does not know european fighters, guess what? Its his problem, not theirs, cause they obviously can make more money and get more fame in Europe. Kinda hard to accept the idea that we are not the center of the HW boxing world anymore.
