Klitschko-Lyakhovich in November?

Let me break it down like this. The last guy Wladimir beat that was considered the top guy was Chris Byrd. Now Byrd, like Peter and Castillo before him, was too small to put punches on the taller Wladimir.Originally posted by neils7147933I disagree with your last statement.
Briggs needs to fight someone who's ranked, or close to being ranked, to justify his rating.
Lyakhovich is like 6'1, 220, not nearly big enough to get leather on Wladimir. It's gonna be the same **** we saw with his last three opponents, all who were good but not built to beat Wladimir Klitschko. Briggs however is 6'4 or something like that and is a much bigger, stronger guy than Lyakhovich. Anyone who is that big and has a punch with some skills is gonna give Wladimir trouble.
Rankings shmankings, lemme tell you guys whats behind the numbers. Briggs is exactly the kind of fighter Wladimir fears. A guy with the size, speed, and power to get punches on him that hurt. Lyakhovich, however, isn't.Comment

i feel like the only thing briggs brings to the table that makes him a threat to wlad is his stature; not many other heavyweights can come as close to looking klitschko in the eye as he can.
however, lyakhovich has shown that he can take a punch and fight a full 12 rounds. he might not be as hard a hitter as briggs (a statement that i say warily, as i have never seen briggs fight, but im going on popular opinion here), but he doesnt have to be a huge puncher to threaten wlad. if he can handle wlad's punches, which wont be coming in volume due to steward's hit and hold thing, then i can see him putting up a good fight.
not to mention the fact that a heavyweight with two belts might make wlad a household name, something we havent had with that division in awhile.Comment

Believe me, they all read the forums. I was recently confronted by a boxer about something said here, but I used my slick talk to get out of troubleOriginally posted by beez721funny. surprises me that more boxers dont actually post on here to reply to criticism they recieve. I mean,,,us boxing fans get pissed off when our fav boxers get trashed. I can only imagine how pissed off these boxers get when they read such spiteful comments about them
And to Charlie, I'll be alot closer to the action than you thats for sure
Sucks cuz you watch the fights on a 15 inch tv
