I learned a lesson from last week when a boxer confronted me at a press con about something said here. If you're in the press and talk smack about a fighter, they will find you. Luckily for me, Wladimir has a suspect chin

this couldn't possibly be because you both are from ney york/new jersey and is a hometown fav even though he is a hasbeen?

I don't think you've got a very strong argument here AS - Briggs is "dangerous" because he's a quick guy who can punch a bit (although he hasn't done that to many top heavyweights down the years). But if Klitschko can secure fights against the other beltholders to clear up the mess and become the true champ rather than being the best of the bunch, he should do. Thats what the majority of the fans in the world want to see; a HW champion.

Also you state how lyakhovic wouldn't be a challenge for Wlad....well he beat Brewster clearly who knocked out Wlad. Brewster isn't super tall and managed to tag him in that matchup. Lyakhovic is #4, Briggs hasn't beat anyone of note. Apart from the money Briggs might bring I don't see why Wlad would want to fight him at all.

its a matter of opinion who is more dangerous for wlad, briggs or SL... but it is not up for debate who deserves to fight wlad first, SL..... briggs has done nothing to warrant a title shot and any BOXING fan should rather see a deserving SL fight wlad in a unification fight then see briggs get a title shot after beating a bunch of journeymen,,,

Upsets don't just happen, they are created in the gym. Believe me on this, if Briggs goes in the ring at 240 and as motivated as he is now, Wladimir will leave on a stretcher.
how the hell is he gonna get back down to 240 after hes been feasting on bums and coming into fights at 270-275. The point that Im trying to make is that he doesnt deserve this shot with Klitschko and Wlad either needs to fight one of the champs or Calvin Brock....

Lyakhovich is like 6'1, 220, not nearly big enough to get leather on Wladimir. It's gonna be the same **** we saw with his last three opponents, all who were good but not built to beat Wladimir Klitschko. Briggs however is 6'4 or something like that and is a much bigger, stronger guy than Lyakhovich. Anyone who is that big and has a punch with some skills is gonna give Wladimir trouble.

Rankings shmankings, lemme tell you guys whats behind the numbers. Briggs is exactly the kind of fighter Wladimir fears. A guy with the size, speed, and power to get punches on him that hurt. Lyakhovich, however, isn't.
Liakhovich is 6"4 possibly taller and his fighting weights are anywhere from 235 and up, thats a big difference....

Lyakhovich is the same height as Briggs. So for someone to make a comment about Briggs looking Wlad square in the eye and that being the reason they want Briggs vs Wlad over Sergei vs Wlad is more garbage and nonsense being spewed. I want Wlad to fight Briggs because I am hoping that Wlad pops the hype bubble that Briggs has brought about. But of course all the sudden Briggs nuthuggers will make up more excuse's about why their boy went down like a ton of bricks. However I do not want a supposed Briggs vs Wlad matchup to interfere with a unification match. I have been asking for unification since Lewis retired and if this is the first opportunity at it, I am all for it.

It isn't about who can beat Wladimir, but who can't. Is Wladimir taking an easier opponent style wise, I say YES! Not hating, just gotta call them like I see them.
Oh ye dude Wlad has never had a problem with same size or bigger guys then him, he tore up Mccline who was his height and weighed more then him, Derrick Jefferson same height weighed more he got his ass tore up also Im sure there are more others but I do not think size matters to Wlad his losses all came from shorter guys, Corrie Sanders 6"2, Brewster 6"1-6"2, Purrity also 6"1-6"2, is not about the size man, Briggs gave Lewis more then he could handle and had him hurt all over the place but that was what 4-5 years ago and feasting on bums is what makes Briggs look good but hes hasnt fought a top 20 fighter and now all of a sudden he can beat Klitschko come on dawg it doesnt work like that...

challenge? illiterate? LoL this coming from a moron who doesnt know basic chemical formulas that I learned about in 7th grade. You have already proven your a dumb bucket head by the fact you do not have basic pre highschool knowledge and the fact you think Briggs is actually a threat to anyoone in the top 10

There...how was that for a writing piece?

Lyakhovich had in front of him a guy who was not very tall and was there to be hit all night. Wladimir is a different fighter than Brewster. Wladimir is taller and will always dominant smaller opponents.

Get a guy like Briggs in there, or not even Briggs. It doesn't have to be Briggs, anyone who is a super heavyweight like Wladimir is will be a nightmare for him. Wladimir is content to fight guys who are small like Byrd and Lyakhovich, and thats really sad. I can't respect him as a champ until he beats guys who have a legitimate, logical shot at beating him.

Last time we saw that was Peter, and even then Peter had a style disadvantage but still put Wladimir down three times. If Peter was 6'4-5, Wladimir would've been out inside of 4. But of course, the height advantage is so pronounced that guys who are 6'1 and under have to get him with one shot, and Lyakhovich can't do anything with one shot.
Liakhovich is exactly the same heigh as Briggs is. Briggs has a reach advantage on Liakhovich but Briggs is also out of shape lately and comes in weighing 265-270, while Liakhovich is keeping himself within 235-240. If being 6'4" 240 man without an ounce of fat on him is not, in your eyes, "a super heacyweight", then please explain to me what is. Liakhovich cannot do anything with one shot? How do you know this? Because the only fight you saw was him fighting Brewster, who is tough as granite. Watch that fight again and tell me that if Liakhovich was pounding any other top 20 HW, how many of them wouldn't go down?
Come on man, we've established that:
                      1. the only rankings that you trust don't even show Briggs in top 10, so Liakhovich is more deserving of a title shot based on that.
                      2. Briggs and Liakhovich are the same "super heavyweights", as you put it and they both have the same chance at beating Wlad.
                      3. Fans want unification, not another challenger who;s been beating bums.

Admitting your hate is the first step to recovery. You don't like Wlad and because you think that Briggs has a better chance at beating Wlad, you spend hours in this discussion, trying to tell everybody that you would want to see this fight only because there is a chance that Wlad will loose. Oh, and next time, do your research before talking facts.
