I don't have to denigrate anything concerning Floyd. He did a good enough job of that on his own.

Had he just beat the man in his prime you wouldn't need 55,000 posts worth of excuses.

Ok, if you say so. 1st ballot HOF'er and the primary guy in the HOF class including Wlad and Ward. If that is Floyd denigrating his career, ok.

The primary reason people will say Pac never won the Floyd fight is because he didn't fight in the manner we expected him to. You can attribute that to Floyd's style, yes, but you can also say, despite not getting the Manny we wanted, he probably was still more active and landed more overall punches than Jr. Though because I think the world expected Manny to bull doze over him and we did not get that, the critics/judges were hard on Manny for it. Although let's be real, Manny was not going to win a decision in Las Floyd. Floyd denotes so much money to that city, they love him for it.

Let's also just sweep under the rug the fact that Jr. had dirt on Manny's shoulder injury going into the fight. Despite a mediocre performance from Pac, it wasn't an amazing performance by Jr. I consider Jr's win at this point, similar to Teo's win over Loma. Yeah, he got the "W", but it wasn't impressive.

I couldn't see Floyd beating a prime Pac when he just coasted by an injured, lesser activity Pac.

Its hard getting around the fact that Floyd not fighting and beating the best guys in their prime doesn't put him in top ten all time goat status.

He can beat more paper champs, he can be the primary guy in his hof class, he can cherrypick his way to an undefeated resume, he can be the cash cow, but it ain't gonna put him in that top ten goat status.

The fact a thread needs to be made is why pac S greater.
8 division titil ist, better resume, a nd taking more risks is some of many reasons why pac s greater.
Floyd is only literally better defensively

No fighter that fought the bulk of his career post 2000 would be in the top 10 all time because of the changes in the sport.

If Floyd's resume as is doesn't place him in the top 10, and he isn't on my list, beating Manny in 09/10, Cotto in 08 and Margs wouldn't elevate him to that level.

Any real boxing fan knows the story anyway
The president Pacquiao supports is a worse DICTATOR than Trump but people applaud him for being a senator in an authoritarian government.

Pacman is compliant with literal martial law where civilians are murdered pointlessly. Its not much different in the US clearly but they arent at the point of murdering their own people (yet)
