    Ok so yeah, cracked it I think... either you use the whitespace stripper and 'convert linebreaks' and you can type normally... takes maybe an extra minute. Or you can use 'Don't Convert Linebreaks' and include html break instructions every time you want to use a line break... your ENTER / RETURN key won't cut it here. Six of one half a dozen of the other I guess. Depends how important it is to include the flavour text alongside the table, or whether we're quite happy to do it in a seperate post as you've done above. Logical once you think about it, but since everything I know about html I've basically figured here on the Pick Em I guess I can be forgiven for not getting it straightway.

    EDIT: Goddamn that's sad, just spent half an hour of my life messing around figuring how to change background and text colours in html..

      I think it makes sense, if I test out the new spreadsheet with another Pick Em and see how it works out before you take over. So, I'll finish the rankings for this one and do the next one.
      If you still have your old E-Mail address, ill send you the spreadsheet. Going to polish it up a little bit to make everything look tidier.

        Yeah, I'm still on the same e-mail so send it over to me when you're done and I'll pick it up from there. I'll try it out see how it works for me and also have a canvass of player opinion to see how much info they want to be presented with, also see if I can come up with any useful additions. I'd been meaning to have a think about ways I could improve or tinker with my updating system for last year or more, but then you get this kinda inertia going on when you get so used to doing things a particular way that it feels like too much effort to make a change even if it'd be worth it in the long run.

        I also signed myself up for an online html course which is probably long overdue, since I've just been improvising and learning by tinkering up till now... hopefully figure out some ways I can play around with the presentation and maybe pick up some other useful stuff as well.

        Once again, many, many thanks.... although rest assured I can pretty much guarantee it won't be the last time I ask for your help if I get behind with it - if things are opened up again by summer I'm planning on spending as much as it as possible out in the campervan and likely incommunicado so don't let your spreadsheet skills get too rusty!

                    Okay gents, unsurprisingly nearly all of us who picked on both fights got em both correct - though of course we had one or two caught out by the the time zone on the Parker vs Fa fight. Junior was maybe a little unlucky there but I don't think most of us would be too unhappy with the result... Canelo vs Yildrim? Well - it's was always gonna be a case of when not if and a few of you came up trumps with the early KO. Two players obviously stand out RJJ-94-02=GOAT and YoungManRumble, both of whom came through with two perfect picks with RJJ icing his cake with a x3... Congratualtions gents.

                    Other big scorers who came in on 140 were ruedboy, Kezzer, mlac and Chrismart. Well done gents!

                    And once again big thanks to Asgarth for getting back on top of the scoring.

                      Yeah, I remember when I made the switch from doing all the updating on-site and started using a spreadsheet... literally spent the first year wading through the html tabulation code and changing all the numbers by hand from last weeks tables.. cut and pasting <tr>...</tr> entries to move folk up and down the table. Looking back I can't believe I actually stuck with it so long, or that I managed it with so few mistakes (although there were still plenty). Suddenly found instaed of 2 or 3 hours a week just on the tables I could usually manage it in a hour or so including a write up and special mentions. Like you say, kinda satsifying figuring out new ways of doing stuff.

                      Are you gonna bring us up to date with Adams vs Bohachuk or do you had enough for now? No problem if you want to hand it back but I sure as hell ain't complaining if you want to put the finishing touches on it... also have you had any thoughts about how you'd incorporate underdog multipliers in to the system? seems to me it'd be OK just adding it in on the multipliers column for an applicable win totalling with any optional multipliers that have been used. Seems like overkill to add in a whole extra column given that the underdog multipliers actually only come into play pretty rarely.
