Tatabanya, Joshua, KO, mid
Tatabanya, Dogboe, KO, late (for the moment I'm picking with my gut feeling more than my brain, then we'll see as fight time approaches...)

Fùck yeah. Put the fight in.
AJ has just gone on record saying he's retiring if he loses. He's in full David Price mode, mentally shivering, insecure, with a foot out of the game already.SUBZER0ED likes this.

...and after the swearing and name-calling, in come the sappy violins and the birds begin to chirp...
Good times, those when Roberto Duran greeted Sugar Ray Leonard at the end of their first fight by telling him to go to hell, before shaking his crotch in front of the whole world...Willy Wanker likes this.

Okolie is the pugilistic equivalent of the expression "watching the paint dry".

I can't do that, but something will be moving soon in that regard, hopefully. However, the multipliers issue was widely discussed at the beginning of the season, and throughout the first few weeks......Last edited by Tatabanya; 03-26-2023, 12:27 PM.NC Uppercut likes this.

Last night I was impressed by Benavidez's engine and willpower. Although he didn't stop Plant, and was outboxed rather evidently in the first half, I feel that this fight will do him a lot of good on the long term. If they meet, and Canelo's version is the one we saw vs Bivol and Golovkin III, I'd favor...

PICK EM CREW: next weekend it's Robeisy Ramirez vs Isaac Dogboe for sure. Are we putting Joshua vs Franklin in as well?...

Funny how many inverse picks there were for Benavidez and Ramirez... Most players picked Benavidez KO and Ramirez decision. Not to mention Okolie KO (what an overrated fighter the guy is...). However...
Results:
Mbilli DEC wide
Okolie DEC wide
Benavidez DEC clear...ruedboy likes this.

I only listen to music, not to people
And in any case - see above - I managed to get more groceries for free tomorrow, thanks to Jose Ramirez...

I was very disappointed with Plant's sudden fading. Halfway through I felt the money in my hands. For my good luck, Ramirez won in the 11th at 23/1, so basically I ended with an active of over a hundred for the weekend.
But I tumbled down from the upper echelon of the Pick Em League......siablo14 likes this.

Final decision was made. Plant winning at 3.85/1, plus Ramirez knocking out Commey in rounds 7 to 11, odds ranging from 17/1 to 23/1 depending on the round.
I had also bet on the Benavidez vs Plant draw at 15/1 two days ago.
