Give him a couple of fights, maybe bring something back to Alabama. Let him develop just like any other athlete. They don't take someone who is a great college prospect and throw him right in. And this kid is a great prospect.
And that right there is why Wilder's reign should never be respected.

A title holder is supposed to bring honour to the belt.

Team Wilder were of the view that once he had it, he should just be allowed to keep it for a while.

"don't throw him right in" - He was a bloody title holder. It was his job to be "right in".

This is another level of excuses by wilder not seen before. So it's all new territory.
All wilder can.do is get back to winning. All the other stuff is irrelevant

Why do some people like to degrade other boxers when they take a loss? I bet most keyboard warriors cannot even dare to enter the ring. It's a fight, one will win and one will lose. Its fans like these that prevent competitive fights in the first place. Fighters today are so conscious of their 0 records to fight decent people.

Wilder fought a prime Fury and lost. Even if he loses another time, I still enjoy his fights, and him staying around for a while makes the division competitive.

Calm down friendo it's all fun, at least for me it is. No one really takes professional fighting serious not since the 80s and yes it does take away fighters daring to be great, but like basketball players and other athletes they all should understand to tune out the media, twitter and other social media. I get that fans will find them aloof but with money comes a price of notoriety and criticism.

Wilder still has another 30/40/50 years of ridicule to endure.

He's just a year older than me so I can laugh at him all through his life.

No one is degrading Wilder for taking a loss...... I was on here giving him props for staying in the fight as long as he did (provable).

His actions since are why people laugh and think he's a moron.
