He can, because his fans had low standards to begin with. He was never anything special in terms of talent and skill. He had a big right hand and not much else. But he said the right things and looked the part, so his fans gave him unconditional praise. If he wants to be relevant again, he'll need to fight and defeat AJ or Fury. Outside of that, he'll slip back into obscurity like Parker and the rest of the former ABC champs.
Can Wilder's image ever recover from this?

Vitali Klitschko didn't even fight his mandatory Bermane Stiverne in 2011 and Vitali last fight was in 2012 and he dropped the WBC title in december of 2013 15 months being out the ring, and Wilder was first rated number 10 in like WBC after he won second tier WBC belt august 9 2013 https://web.archive.org/web/20130820...com/rankings-2 so how he ducked Vitali Klitschko again? If he dared to fight the best we would have had a Vitali Klitschko fight years back . The hard truth is Wilder has never fought a guy that was ready or in perfect health and when he did fight a real top guy in condition he got smashed .
He will go down as one of the biggest jokes and always have unlimited references to be the joke ,even Joyce’s camp was clowning him today wrapping his hands . It’ll never get old .Comment

Team Wilder waited for Vitali to retire before making any noises about titles . If he wasn’t ready why did he come out right away and challenge for his vacated belt ? Stiverne was protected by Don King from ever facing Vitali at least all the years Vitali was champion ,the resumes will prove that .Vitali Klitschko didn't even fight his mandatory Bermane Stiverne in 2011 and Vitali last fight was in 2012 and he dropped the WBC title in december of 2013 15 months being out the ring, and Wilder was first rated number 10 in like WBC after he won second tier WBC belt august 9 2013 https://web.archive.org/web/20130820...com/rankings-2 so how he ducked Vitali Klitschko again?
Wilder never intended to fight either Klitschko and his team would never let that happen ,if Finkles actions weren’t enough to show this to you nothing will.Last edited by REDEEMER; 11-19-2020, 01:37 PM.Comment

NO, they will never put humpty dumpty back together again.
He is a joke at this point, real fighters don't let a lose define them, go back to the gym and train for the rematch.
He would have to come back and beat AJ or something big to redeem himself, hard to see with how his career has gone, he never fought good opposition (Arreola, Washington etc) and now after losing he has made more excuses than I have ever heard a boxer say.
Imagine if AJ would have done this against Ruiz.
He is the next Jeff Lacy (Lacy never cried about his losses to be fair, took his L's like a man).Comment

Actually he is BIGGER now regardless if it is all for the wrong reasons and people will tune in to see his Next Fight because people love to see a train wreck
If the Fury thing drags out Put him in vs Helenius on Regular FOX and it will do massive ratings because people will tune in out of curiosity to see what he say and does next
As for how will he look in the ring, it Depends on the Trainer he picks I guess, he need a trainer to tell him to STFU, stop making excuses and lets work on getting Better instead of blaming everybody else but yourselfLast edited by sicko; 11-20-2020, 03:27 PM.Comment

Probably not, he is still in denial, he didn`t accept the loss. He learned nothing, his last 9 months was the waste of time.
If he fights Fury next, he is done. Fury will punish him even harder, it just can`t be any different.
Wilder should go separate way, fight some guys like Martin, Kownacki, Helenius, that he probably still beats, get some self respect back, some confidence and than go for the title.Comment

Wilder isn't going to wake up to what a complete idiot he sounds until all the ego stroker around him stop stroking his ego and all those dumb race bait channels find something better to use to sponge money off morons who use YouTube.
When it is just Wilder and people who talk straight he will fall from his delusional excuse cloud.Comment

Not unless he goes on a great run and faces the kind of dangerous opponents he shoukd have been facing and beats them. Like whyte and povetkin B2B.Wilder seems like a delusional man, who is still in the denial phase.
When he comes out of the denial phase and realizes that he lost fair and square, will he be a broken shell of a man?
I believe when he realizes what he has done, he'll probably never fight a real challenge again. But then again, he dared to fight the best once, so I hope he recovers, because I like him. But these excuses and this delusion is just making it extremely hard.
"I'm a king!"
But its likely he's just done. Lose again and he's Chavez Jnr tierComment

Wilder is and always was a protected fraud pretender. That's what he was and will always be. Now he's exposed the ugly truth to everyone.
No amount of faking or more fixed fights or PR rescue can help wilder, the truth is out of the bag. He's a no class jack a55 POS fraud pretender who will win a few more haymon rigged dives before cashing out vs AJ.Comment
