Wilder is just a cherry picker end of, the only reason he chose fury is because fury had just lost xx amount of lbs, and then it’s his trainer, gloves not on properly, egg weights in gloves, because he’s black , his water was spiked and he was drugged, what a complete tosser he can’t even stay relevant after all this, we all know what we can see, very technically poor, but he started on the right track when he said I make no excuses the better man won tonight and then it was my costume was too heavy I do wonder what the next excuses will be this guy is a complete loser

      No

Wilder is like 36 years old, if he was 26, you could say well sure if he came back, won the rematch, dominated the division for multiple years then came out and said "I was just a ****** kid", then yeah his rep could recover.

But since none of that can happen, no his rep will not recover, he will go down as a figure of fun in the annals of history.

"Geez that was almost as bad as wilder" will be the saying every time a boxer makes a dumb excuse from now on.

      That's his legacy

I like Wilder as a fighter...he should have stopped at, "I think there was some funny stuff going on with Fury's gloves..."

Wilder became WBC champion before Wlad's mando with Fury had been ordered and the undisputed fight could easily have been made, but Wilder's manager, Shelley Finkel, ruled it out, saying Deontay was still a baby and not yet ready for Wlad.
Nonsense, these were Wlad's own words literally after beating Bryant Jennings:

"I believe that the fight with Tyson Fury will look different to this one because of the size difference – Fury is taller than me. He is definitely the guy who is ambitious and I think it is going to be exciting. I think that he is going to engage in the fight. There was not much engagement through Jennings today but I think the Fury fight will be exciting and I’m looking forward to it."

Its literally in the Wiki article about the fight:

The fight was then announced in August. Wilder himself also talked about wanting Wlad in June 2015:

In fact there are a bunch of damn videos on youtube where you can watch him talk about Wlad "looking slow". Its just beyond asinine that anyone can try and dump that on anyone other than the reality of boxing. Klistchko lost, wanted a rematch and then Fury popped and vacated his titles. Wlad opted to fight for the vacated titles instead of aiming at the WBC. And I mean, what boxer would not aim for the titles he just lost out on?????

Wilder won his title in Jan 2015. Also in Jan 2015, Finkel said this:

“Look, Wilder is a baby winning the title. It was his first title fight, they'll be a time for unification, they'll be a time for all those things. It's not the right thing yet. Give him a couple of fights, maybe bring something back to Alabama. Let him develop just like any other athlete. They don't take someone who is a great college prospect and throw him right in. And this kid is a great prospect.

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (33-0, 32KOs) is still very much a work in progress, says his co-manager Shelly Finkel. After last Saturday's world title win over Bermane Stiverne, the hype began growing for a fight between Wilder and WBO/WBA/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko. Finkel, who manages Wilder with Al Haymon and Jay Deas, also works closely with Klitschko.

Deontay Wilder, reigning WBC champion, 29 years old, 33 - 0 with 32 KO's ... still a baby doe, still like a college prospect ....

11 months later Tyson Fury, 26 years old, 24 - 0, went on the road and beat Wlad in his own back yard.

The facts - and Shelley Finkel - speak for themselves, and they say you are spouting it here. The reason Wilder never fought Wlad was that he and his team didn't want it.

Wilder hid from Vitali the entire time from 2011 upward ,you aren’t fooling anyone on here . Ha

Wilder won a title when the coast was clear and had to have a Don King protected fighter Stiverne to do so .

So you can reverse your narrative for Wilder ducking vitali Klitschko for Tyson Fury.
At no time did Wilder say Vitalis name when he was the champion, he puffed his chest out after he left the sport ,just stop. Ha

Most fights are on the level and those that are are pretty clear.

The ones that are rigged are always suspect. Tyson vs Seldon, Foreman vs moorer, oscar vs hopkins, etc.

Then there are those that look semi real but are rigged. All of Wilders. Ali vs liston both. Almost all of Floyds.

Lopez might have had the judges via Arum. He won the fight anyway so that part is overlooked now.

With the severe shortage of American stars to sell, you can be sure the few who are in line to be stars will be protected by riggery (Spence, Davis, Shakur).
