Expect the opposite is true too. The less Adrian Broner wanna bes there are the better the sport will be.

Especially when all the talk comes from people who have barely done anything.

There's a difference between hype and just flat out delusion.

Nobody would say that "Amir Khan is just hyping the fight" when he says he beats prime Manny and prime Floyd.

Remember when Victor Ortiz was "just hyping the fight"? Talking about how he was going to brutalize Floyd, he doesn't make mistakes, etc.?

Basically quits against Floyd - he wasn't hurt - then demands a rematch.

      That's delusional.

What Mosley did with Floyd? THAT is properly hyping a fight. You have a guy with a solid resume and a very strong chance to upset Floyd telling the truth of the matter.

Not some 'eye test' guy claiming something he hasn't proven yet.

Yeah the low blows beat Loma.. That fight was an absolute disgrace. The decision should have been overturned.

I also don't care that you enjoy Lopez's heart.

We need to focus on FACTS of the matter.

FACT: Lopez is a basket case that is not emotionally sound.

          FACT: Lomachenko's resume destroys Lopez's.

FACT: Nagatani showed us that Lopez lacks fundamentals and an ability to stop right hands AND his power might just be overrated when you can see the punches coming.

FACT: His knockout of Commey was similar to Sergio/Williams 2. Two guys throw at the same time, one doesn't see it coming and gets caught. But Williams was eating right hands the entire fight before that. (Sound familiar?)

FACT: Lopez has a puncher's chance and that is all he has.

Now, as a fan, if you want to say "you know, I understand. Loma is likely going to dominate this kid. But I'm rooting for him anyway". Great. I respect that. I cheer for underdogs too.

If you want to say " I respect Lopez for at least taking the risk that Crawford refuses to", great. I respect that too.

But when you come at me with "he's a champ doe!" as a reason he stands a chance, and I tell you that Wilder was a champ too and got knocked spark out, and you don't say, "you know, good point" - instead it's "yeah he lost, so what doe! BLOCKED!"

Come on man. I'm hitting you with facts. Set your emotions aside. FACTS. I know you love the guy. You can still love the guy. But let's be realistic here.

Your guy is an emotional wreck. He's talking to convince himself. We saw it with Ortiz against Floyd. It's the same thing.

Did you see him talking about his dad? His dad never moved, never nodded, never anything. It's not right between them. Dad is putting pressure on this guy because Dad was upset with Loma's team and triggered this. He's fighting Dad's battle. The titles are just a secondary.

He hasn't proven anything yet. Maybe he will with a lucky shot.

But UNTIL then, you need to accept the strong possibility based on the facts that this guy is made to quit in the ring. That's all.

And if that happens, he is very likely to retire, because his Dad won't forgive him, his ego won't let him forget and it'll be another Naseem Hamed situation. And that would be a shame because he does appear to be a solid prospect, and he SHOULD have fought someone at his level first - like a Ryan Garcia or otherwise, which would have been just as exciting and a very good test for him without overwhelming him.
You talk about speaking facts but then you say Lopez has NOTHING but a puncher's chance.

This is a guy who can really box and has skills/speed.

Fact check this: Linares gave Lomachenko hell and put him on his ass until he ran out of gas. Loma's gas tank won him that fight. Lopez is better then Linares.

Terrance Crawford is a substantially better fighter than Jeff Horn could ever dream of being. That’s a fact and it’s passed time for you to accept that.

How many Teofimo fights have you watched to get an honest assessment that "Teofimo can box".

And man. "Linares ran out of gas". Man so many of you haters are trying so hard this week. Can you all just tell me where Lomachenko hurt you guys? Honestly.

Salido was a world champion. I'm guessing you didn't call him a journeyman to his face.

Loma's inexperience and Salido's 11lb weight advantage played a major role in the outcome of that fight.

They just don't have the balls to admit that Loma is on another level. Some people have no joy in their lives but to come here and release their baseless hate
