        No excuses.

With or without low blows Salido beat him so don’t even go there.

Low blows happen especially with fighters that go hard to the body its part of the game just like Floyd used his elbow, Holyfield’s Head etc lol

Lmao good one but don’t recall Salido gaining any points or Loma losing points over low blows so that had no affect in the score cards!

I also don't care that you enjoy Lopez's heart.

We need to focus on FACTS of the matter.

FACT: Lopez is a basket case that is not emotionally sound.

                FACT: Lomachenko's resume destroys Lopez's.

FACT: Nagatani showed us that Lopez lacks fundamentals and an ability to stop right hands AND his power might just be overrated when you can see the punches coming.

FACT: His knockout of Commey was similar to Sergio/Williams 2. Two guys throw at the same time, one doesn't see it coming and gets caught. But Williams was eating right hands the entire fight before that. (Sound familiar?)

FACT: Lopez has a puncher's chance and that is all he has.

Now, as a fan, if you want to say "you know, I understand. Loma is likely going to dominate this kid. But I'm rooting for him anyway". Great. I respect that. I cheer for underdogs too.

If you want to say " I respect Lopez for at least taking the risk that Crawford refuses to", great. I respect that too.

But when you come at me with "he's a champ doe!" as a reason he stands a chance, and I tell you that Wilder was a champ too and got knocked spark out, and you don't say, "you know, good point" - instead it's "yeah he lost, so what doe! BLOCKED!"

Come on man. I'm hitting you with facts. Set your emotions aside. FACTS. I know you love the guy. You can still love the guy. But let's be realistic here.

Your guy is an emotional wreck. He's talking to convince himself. We saw it with Ortiz against Floyd. It's the same thing.

Did you see him talking about his dad? His dad never moved, never nodded, never anything. It's not right between them. Dad is putting pressure on this guy because Dad was upset with Loma's team and triggered this. He's fighting Dad's battle. The titles are just a secondary.

He hasn't proven anything yet. Maybe he will with a lucky shot.

But UNTIL then, you need to accept the strong possibility based on the facts that this guy is made to quit in the ring. That's all.

And if that happens, he is very likely to retire, because his Dad won't forgive him, his ego won't let him forget and it'll be another Naseem Hamed situation. And that would be a shame because he does appear to be a solid prospect, and he SHOULD have fought someone at his level first - like a Ryan Garcia or otherwise, which would have been just as exciting and a very good test for him without overwhelming him.
You're the king of ignoring facts. Does that make you a coward?

                  Absolutely agree.

Also, gotta mention the fact that Loma has 396-1 amateur fights under his belt. Y'all think he hasn't met a few guys that has Lopez's style? If you do then you probably should go watch football or something else. Loma has seen it all and a power puncher like Lopez is bringing nothing else to the table.

No back flipping or Fortnite dancing on Sat night. Loma will again clearly demonstrate that there are levels to this game. It may be a Loma-Walters all over again but we'll see.

can't wait to see all the Loma haters here (especially BoxingIsGreat) to come up with pages of excuses. I'm sure they are already at it

41 low blows were counted but if he can get away with it without losing a point by the ref then Salido had a great strategy to win.
It was a good learning fight for Loma and gotto give full credit to Salido for winning.
Dont know why people care so much about a loss.
