You know Teddy Atlas might not be a bad choice. He demands his fighters to be discipline & work hard. He doesn’t allow short cuts. He wouldn’t have to worry about discipline & hard work as Wilder is always in great shape so he could utilize all the time working on some things. He already has an eraser right hand. He would only need to tweak some things. Let’s not forget his only loss was to the best HW in the world & possibly the best HW since lennox Lewis retired. No shame in that & he did drop him twice in the first fight. Fury is looking past Wilder to AJ so there is the chance of Wilder landing the decisive blow. The only problem is Fury is one of only a few fighters in my lifetime that can actually get away with it. He is that good...

He should have scrapped that entire team. Jay Deas is probably THE worst trainer in all of boxing. He clearly hasn't taught Deontay a damn thing about the sweet science and he speaks like a complete imbecile when he says anything at all about boxing. The dude is a PAL coach. Deontay isn't going to learn anything new. He just needs someone to get him in shape and do what he does best, wing haymakers and commit to offense. He should just hire Ben Davison to get him in shape and that's it.

Deontay Wilder is looking to place blame on anyone, or anything for his first loss. The reality is that his boxing skills are terrible, his athletic abilities, and power have saved him many times from a loss. He needed another trainer, because he was committing the same mistakes in his fights. Swinging wildly, getting hit to much, and sloppy foot movement. Breland couldn't break break his old habits, and Wilder's winning fights only served to justify his style in his mind. I'm not sure anyone will be able to control Wilder enough to teach him how to fight more effectively, and efficiently. Breland did the right thing, when he threw in the towel. Wilder legs could hardly keep him up, was hurt, and disoriented. Basically he was dropped several times, and being knocked all over the ring. If Breland hadn't stopped the fight Deontay, could've suffered permanent damage in that fight.

He has to fill his ego and pride. Breland based his decision on what was happening in reality, Wilder and friends base their decisions on Deontay's distorted view of reality. I can't see how this is going to help Wilder out unless being more of himself is enough to beat Fury which seems unlikely.
There's no denying Wilder has to be different in a third fight but Deas is Wilder's trainer, regardless of whether someone replaces Mark Breland.

So Wilder fires the only guy in that whole camp with any boxing IQ. Brilliant.

What does Jay Deas bring to the table? Just a yes man who strokes Deontay's ego probably, that's why he isn't the one out of a job.

He may get his wish in the 3rd fight because Fury going to brutalize him much worse and this time Breland won't be there to save him. Instead his team rather watch him get battered knowing he has no chance, just so he can go out on his shield.

Wilder is a warrior. A savage. Hes willing to die in the ring. Who is Breland to say otherwise. Wilder is coming to take Furys head off or die trying, and only Fury is capable of stopping him.

I wish wilder the best, I really do but I think that if he loses again to fury then that will be the last time we see him in a ring ever again.
Why wont you see him again lol after he loses he will knockout a couple nobadies. Then be up for a big fight they will probably build up for wilder ruiz both are in acomeback if ruiz stays focused gets two wins wilder two wins since there haymonnfighter thisnis what will prob happen. Orbably will do ruiz ortiz before wilder as well as to build it up.

Exactly needs a trainer to teach him the basics of boxing. He never learned them he started at 21 and was blessed with that wild haymerk. The explosive power and is naturally athletic. So he just built around that one punch. Breeland helped him as much as he good with setting uo the hook. Deontay started to use the jab and faint a little bit when throwing itm but lacks the basics footwork fighting in backfoot etc. Gonna be hard to learn it all now. But if he learns a kittle could go a long way.

That's more in England. In America the ref respects the towel. British refs typically ignore it.
