    100% bottle job.

Fury and Wilder would've gone out on their shield.

Yeah, say what you want about Wilder but he toughed it out v Fury.

Wilder would never spit out his gum shield like that.

Once you do it, You will always do it again...and easier.

That’s why Bob Arum fancies Pulev to beat AJ. He has been around boxing long enough to know a bottle job when he sees one. Pulev may not win, But Bob knows there’s always a good chance against a quitter once they’ve shown they are one.

No he did not quit. Quitting is when a boxer tells the referee he does not want to fight anymore and he certainly did not do that. He said he wanted to continue. But his body language and his face looked like a guy who had mentally sort of given up. That is not the same thing at all as actually quitting and telling the ref you no longer want to continue fighting. AJ was willing to continue to fight but his heart was no longer really in the fight and he was very discouraged.

Fury has been my main man since before he ever won a world title, but there is also a lot to like about AJ. And as a long time British boxing fan, it makes me proud that the 2 top HWs in the world are both Brits, so I don't feel like shitting on either of them.

At least AJ took his defeat like a man, no whining, no lying excuses, and no trying to discredit Andy's win with allegations of cheating.

He wasn’t ready to fight and he knew it. He didn’t follow the refs instructions because if he had the beating would have continued. Unfortunately there only 2 choices, step forward to fight or quit. If you don’t choose door #1 then your choice is door #2 by default.

Fury fans are very dishonest ,they are claiming Wilder is more of a warrior but true warriors of boxing don’t hand pick opponents they grossly over match 95% of the time and or think a fighter isn’t ready like Fury in 2019 or make costume excuses. If anyone really knows boxing they know should Fury win over AJ it’s his best win ,style wise it’s a more difficult fight then a not so prepared Klitschko was .

He did gain my respect with his reaction to defeat, even right after the fight.

I still think he quit though, due to being embarrassed basically. You can sink a mans willingness to fight knocking them down multiple times, and AJ lost the will to fight. I believe Joshua was wanting out and told the ref as much.

I don't think he quit he just was used to sugar daddy Hearn's paid refs that allowed him to untie his tape around the gloves and spit out gum shield in UK to give him time to recover in MULTIPLE FIGHTS and he just did it as a survival instinct to get some time to hopefully recover, but the ref prefered Haymons ******** than Hearns money.

AJ's mind threw a poll: do I continue or do I quit?

About 60% of his neurons voted for "I quit", whereas 40% wanted to go on with the fight.
