Did Joshua QUIT vs Ruiz?

That leaves room for interpretation, which of course is subjective. I don't think he quit but I can't blame anyone who thinks he did. To me he just looked out of it but only AJ knows how he felt at that momentComment

I think it was plainly obvious the way he spat his gumshield out and didn’t show any willingness to want to carry on that he checked out of that fight.
You say you can’t blame him if he did that but the fact is a lot of fighters wouldn’t do that and when the time comes that he’s in deep, that means he will likely do it again.Comment

He might have, but he was getting his a$$ kicked.
He fought hard for rounds with no chance of winning, can't hate too much, he got revenge and didn't make any excuses.
Wasn't he dropped 4 times? he gave it all he had, don't want to see anyone get hurt.Comment

No question.
He spit out his mouth piece (not the first time either) and had the body language of someone who didn't want to be there.
Like I've told people several times, the rematch doesn't matter, you don't shake the label of a quitter easily if ever. And once you quit, it becomes easier for you to mentally excuse doing it again.
It's also a pretty big deal. The mental aspect is relevant in all sports and competitions to be a known quitter is to have a clear disadvantage against opponents who have shown the opposite as far as intangibles.Comment
