well it's always about the money when it comes to JMM isnt it.

    Point is...the man can fight.

    It's a shame though.

If he tried to box JMM he would lose.

Erik Morales is better simple as. At 126 he was a good puncher, could lead or counter, used his left jab very well at range, and we all know he can take a punch with the best of them.

        Clear unanimous decision for Morales.

I know man and I'm picking up JMM to beat Erik if it ever happens. Has erik fought a very sound counter puncher like JMM?
          Nopes never!

And that having said I would love to see JMMs career bloom under his new Team and hopefully earns a shot at the Pacman again. I would love to see a conclussion on that rematch that never materialized.

I would take Morales by UD. I dont think JMM can handle Morales heart, aggression and will. Morales could take JMM's best , I dont think JMM could take Morales best if either had to dig really deep.

            It's a shame these 2 never fought.
There's a rumor that arum offered JMM 1.5 million to fight eric but nacho wanted more money. This was after they refused the rematch against pac for the same reason.

This would be a great fight of two great warriors from mexico and I'm picking morales to win by UD.

The new Marquez looks awsome, the john fight opened his eyes and has really picked up his work rate. I think this Marquez is better then the Marquez that fought Pacquiao. I think it would be a war. But if its the Marquez before the John fight then I see Morales taking the fight, but Marquez after the John fight its a close fight favoring Morales.
What do u mean when Barrera left boxingz?

Isn't this the same reason of JMM that they turned down a rematch wit Pacquiao?

Well that's not a rumor dude, in an article here recently it has been confirmed that team JMM refused the offer to fight Pacman and Morales because of differences with Arum.

Actually it's $1.4 Mil and not $1.5 Mil.

UMM...damn rights he did. 3 fighs with MAB.
I'd say MAB and JMM are both technicaly sound counterpunching boxer-punchers. Barerra has slowed down a lot but the Barerra that fought Morales in the first and even the second fight is a vicious Barerra man.

Nopes Bro, of course Barrera can counter punch but his degree and effectiveness as a counter puncher is way far from JMMs. Counter puching is JMMs ONLY bread and butter while MAB can be a slugger, a boxer and also a counter puncher at times.
