Good thing Canelo is doing this. All these goons conspiring to exploit Canelo’s worth for subs while everyone eats.
Many of you guys still don’t understand all of this is because of 20% from full compensation (“premier”) vs 50% that DAZN expected Canelo to do all while economies have to rebuild regardless. Consumerism isnt going anywhere.

Arrogance from all sides. Canelo won't get $280M+, in the pandemic times. I am guessing in the small print of that contract, DAZN may have inserted a few lines to cover their asses. No way can they pay $35M per fight, in an empty arena, and not lose a lot of money on that show. Impossible. Likely wouldn't even get an undercard, at a figure like that. They'd be haemorrhaging money even if the opponent was fighting for free.

This whole situation lawsuits money, he said they said its not fair what about me. I have to admit it is somewhere between a car wreck and a cheap inside edition show you dont want to even look much less talk about it while real life is going on but.............
It is hard to turn away. Keep the fight fan talking about anything but an actual fight and future fight cards. During the depth of the Pandemic it was big mouth young fighters firing off now the big boys and those Ugly lawyers and litigators are ready to step in.
But hey Boxing is back right? And now I hear there is a class action suit against DAZN for not putting on fights as per yearly contracts.
Have at it boys............

I was always surprised GBP jumped into a deal with DAZN so quickly.
Hearn I understand, he wasn’t established in the USA, so he and DAZN could try to build from the ground up.
Obviously HBO left boxing but I thought GBP would’ve gone to another established network before going to DAZN later down the line if it was still a good option
