    Complete incompetence from DAZN.
The real question is what will Hearn say now that many reporters would like to hear HIS OPINION on DAZN vs GBP. This is where, like I’ve been saying, suspect answers will start to come into play. Ideally if Hearn was given huge budgets for fights that fans criticized then Eddie should support in DAZN paying GBP the Canelo fight.

Notice how much of the drama is about the approval for Matchroom opponents. Why wasn’t Eddie for the last months really pushing for his fighters to take the Canelo fight? It always always “it’s up to Smith or BJS” when the whole time Smith knew about the approvals nor did he mention to say “Canelo needs to be reasonable about the pays.” Hearn didn’t disclose any of that because it benefited fans not knowing the new splits!!!

When Smith and BJS came back, they wanted their original offers knowing GBP would only get $17mil for those fights. So they were trolling GBP all orchestrated by Eddie Hearn. 17mil/5mil Thing is GBP felt they shouldn’t have been the ones to fork over any differences to make the fight.

Hearn is a scumbag... GBP made a mistake getting in bed with this snake.

They negotiated a deal for the Garcia vs Campbell fight, Hearn sent GBP the contract, and the contract differed completely from the verbal agreement that was made. This showed GBP even further that DAZN is not to be trusted, they’re working in conjunction with Hearn.

He probably put the fishnets on and started doing a few lines after he heard about the lawsuit.

Both DEAD ZONE and Golden Girl Promotions are going up in flames and Clenelo will soon be a fight-by-fight free agent. The problem for him is he won't have Fishnets to line up cupcake fights for him anymore.

As soon as lawyers are involved, everyone loses. Everyone loses money in court fees. Everyone loses TV revenue in a time they can lest afford to. Everyone loses whatever good PR they had. Everyone loses any hope of salvaging a decent working relationship. Everyone loses time in the ring doing what they love as all this gets hashed out.

And yes... fans lose interesting match ups and big fights.

This is why boxing fans drink.

Canelo is being utterly self centered, indefatigable, which implies he care not for the overall health of the sport which has bowed and sc****d to him on many occasions.
The standard was initally set by European football stars who willingly took pay cuts along with back rrom staff to keep the game on life support.
DAZN had no idea this pandemic was coming, no one did, and most reasonable people realise what was is not what is.

Except for Alvarez. I have always thaought he was a bit of a ******, but this completely confirms it for me.

If the P4P rankings included depth of character then Canelo would be outta there. Selfish f*^k. He's still going to be receiving megabucks for fighting just twice a year, and only once a year is he expected to fight someone who is respectable.

I don't care who he fights, as long as it's against an opponent who isn't on their way to journeyman or heavy bag status. The GGG fight doesn't interest me anymore as Golovkin is nearing 40, and Canelo has his number, do it will be entertaining but a decision for carrott boy.
Saunders, or Smith are decent opponents, as are Charlo, Munguia, Andrade, and a whole host of young fighters.

But we know Canelo will pick according to the Mayweather business model: Get ém while they're coming off a tough fight, make weight demands, dictate everything from ring size, to gloves, referees, judges, ring walk, and even what toilet paper is to be used.

I hope the bum loses and has to cough up most of what he's earn't in legal fees - that will force him to take the riskiest fights for the biggest rewards - unless he is happy fighting Ryoto Murata's and Rocky Fieldings until retirement.

Boxing fans have been drinking all along. They used to sell bottle beer at the fights. Now they just throw plastic cups.
