Since when is beating somebody 12 -0 in rounds "running". What should AJ have done, the same mistake as in the first fight?

He should have broken him down and stopped him late.

      He tip tapped to victory

Ruiz was fat, he was slow, he was awful, he should not have seen the final bell.

In that case Ruiz would have stopped AJ again, likely. It is pretty ****** to trade with the guy with faster and shorter arms.

You know what? Aj has consistency. He may be a weak champion but Miguel junito was as well. The two of them both know how to go to war. And I think that's what the fans love about him. The thing is with contemporary greats is that you don't know how well they do till their career is over. The exact opposite would be povetkin a durable hw only losing to 2 super hws leaving a heck of a resume on the line. Or an up and coming Tyson fury who fight wise has all the goods to carve out a goat career well see.

I actually think Joshua showed some mobility in the 2nd Ruiz fight to suggest he has a chance against Tyson Fury.

But I still think Fury has the edge.

              Fury is Joshua’s Daddy.

Joshua can fight mobile but he doesn't look "convincing" doing it.

Like when he fought Parker from the outside behind the jab he did it fairly well but he never looked comfortable to me.

It's not like how Wlad used to glide around the ring looking totally in control, you watch AJ and it just feels like he could unravel at any minute.

I'm not sold on Joshua. What's he going to do when he doesn't have a fat tub of lard following him helplessly around the ring.

An old shot Klitschko almost KHTFO.

                  Fury would give him flashbacks.

Freak out?? What fight did you watch. If fury takes on the best he will be KO’d for sure, he hasn’t taken on many fights at the top end yet in his career

The trouble with AJ is that he needed more time to study, adjust and prepare for Andy Ruiz' style. He obviously underestimated him because he was handpicked on such a short notice.

A lot of that he as to do with Eddie Hearn. He lines the fighters up and Anthony Joshua fights them. Both his timing and conditioning was way off against Andy Ruiz in their first meeting.

That's matchmaking Eddie for you; The promoter. He sure knows how to match them. He inadvertently set Joshua up to fail with his selection of Andy Ruiz as a last minute replacement opponent.

                      Eddie you should know better!
