He fought Americans Taylor, Dirrell, Ward. Also beat Pascal and Bute (Canadians). He was ranked top 10 p4p for 2 years 2013, 2014) before his retirement. Retired number 1 at 168 with Ward's move up to 175.
A lot of Great fighters up for selection soon so it'll be a while before he's in, but that doesn't mean Froch wasn't Great himself. No doubt in my mind he'll get in. And when he does it'll strengthen the case for the man that took his 0, Kessler, to be voted in. Both are top 5 SMW imo (90s onwards). Only Calzaghe, RJJ and Ward clearly ranked higher in the division than them. RJJ higher due to obvious eyeball test and quality of the Toney win, rather than longevity or accomplishments. Toney was greater than CF & MK but his legacy at 168 isn't.

what you mean is that they were SMW elites, but HoF means something else.
Both warriors who fought the best at 168 but neither were elite fighters- Ward showed that by dominating both.

I just don’t think he was ever the official #1 at 168, never had a truly elite win IMO (Pascal probably his best) and then never really made much noise out of the UK.
Rightfully, gets a lot of praise over here but I’m not sure he’ll make the HOF. I could see it being another Eubank/Benn situation.

People get on floyd more as he wants to be TBE so people require more from him. Joe don't even care if he's considered greater than hopkins.
Both wanted the zero, but one thought the zero meant more than the other did
So your critical of Floyd because he said he was great???? K
