how in the hell is floyds win controversial but not Joes???

ya'll make 0 sense, it is hilarious

and how is Hopkins a rival to floyd??? HOW??
manny beat floyd. he landed the head snapping punches while floyd threw lifeless jabs that barely grazed pac. domination...fanboy. rounds 3,4 and 6-10. pac landed the far better punches. we can go through them over and over if you'd like. slow motion? sure. lets watch it. how do floyds punches compare to pacs in those rounds? they dont.

floyd also cheated with the tue that never should have been granted and got caught in a lie. "dehydration" cept he wasnt as 24/7 cameras confirmed and he also took more than 10 times the dose for severe dehydration. not that this matters a whole bunch since pac won hte fight anyway but it should matter to you since you are the "clean up boxing" guy or at least were at the time when floyd was spinning that web

calzaghe over hopkins was sensational... that was another laugh riot of a decision. one guy cant even hit the other and keeps walking into punches but he throws a lot of crap that doenst land and hes the a-side so you know the story there. same as floyd-pac. eubank was also finished and not even ranked and never won again and wasnt even in that division but yeah

      • Mayweather easy, even if he cherry picked, way more HOF or good fighters faced.

Joe waited till Roy and Bhop were 40, he can go f him self for that.

Joe's win over bh is as good. Bh is a big rival of Floyd s of who is actually better of the 2. Joe beat bh in bh backyard.

Pacquiao is ranked higher on every list than hopkins. Which makes floyd win over pacquiao better than joe's win over hopkins

And floyd's win was more decisive. Nobody feels pacquiao beat floyd except pac stans. Plenty of people felt calzaghe lost to the 43 year old hopkins.

Hopkins aint better than floyd at nothing. So cut that out.

Pacquiao, cotto, canelo, marquez, mosley, all hall of famers floyd beat.

Then borderline hall of famers like Corrales, zab, castillo, hatton

Calzaghe resume dont read nothing like that

Yeah of course its easy, Cal was a home grown British champ, he would have needed to go to the states way earlier and fight some prime top guys like Roy Toney Bhop ext not when they a few steps from a Tyson vs Roy exhibition. Cals biggest win of a top in prime was Kessler, his other name fighters were in reality years past their retirement.

If they weighed the same Floyd would beat Cal any number of ways, in boxing ability Floyd is so far ahead its a joke.

              you have to be trolling!!!!
Pfft. Mosley and Oscar were 90s lightweights, Pac massively faded. Fight prime fighters. Judah was an idiot. Canelo at 154 two years later would've been too much.

              • Joe Calzaghe fought 3 fighters ranked in the Top 5 in his entire career. 1 P4P Top 10.

Floyd Mayweather beat 10 fighters ranked #1 in the division being fought in. 7 P4P Top 10.

To even compare them is embarrassing.

                    • Floyd is greater. Top 20 ATG.

Calzaghe is an ATG but hard to place him. He's nowhere near top 20 however.

JC win over BHOP is great, and his win over Kessler (a HOF'er imo) was also excellent and he dismantled Lacy in a legit 1 v 2 fight. He had longevity and was undefeated. Definitely top 3 at 168 ever, and became Ring Champ at 175. Bhop's 175 run post-JC is crazy good also.

Let's not forget that Ottke ducked him for years, had JC beaten him he would have been lineal champ for YEARS. Ottke wouldn't be seen as such a meme also because he'd have stepped up.

With hindsight only a few fights more would have sealed JC as a top 20 ATG. Those being; Sven Ottke (meaning he'd have many more lineal defenses), fighting prime Glen Johnson at 168/175 after his 2004 fighter of the year run, Carl Froch, and beating a better version of RJJ. If I recall he took more money to fight Manfredo Jr rather than mandatory in Stieglitz I think, he'd have been 4 belt undisputed had he took that fight. Stieglitz had a decent career so it would have been another notch. Maybe throw a rematch with Reid in there too.
