    1. Sergiy has never stopped any elite opponent.

    2. Charlo has never been off his feet.

    3. Charlo has one of the best chins in boxing.

I'd like to see Charlo stop talking about GGG tho. That fight will never happen. Wouldn't be surprised if GGG retires after his next fight.
Sergiy fought elite fighters and gave them a hell of a fight while..charlo hasnt fought nobody and now gets praise as a god for stepping up? GTFOH with that crap

Styles make fights. Derev has a strong amateur background and is better technically as well as being the better boxer but Charlo can crack. Derev gave Golovkin and Jacobs problems at points but looked like sheet against Culcay.

Personally I think Charlo's best chance is to catch Derev early because the longer it goes Derev has that ability to adapt which Charlo probably doesn't. Also I think Derev's power is very underrated - he hurt Golovkin and Jacobs and certainly has it in him to KO Charlo. Judging by Golovkin's fights with both Canelo and Derev it appears he was more bothered by Derev so I'd have to say he probably packs more power than Canelo.

Of the 2, 154 Charlo has fought way better competition than 160 Charlo who's resume is pretty thin. So your confused brother, even if 160 Charlo fought JRock, JRock is nothing special. This will be the fight that determines how good Jermall (160) Charlo is.
Jermall did fight Trout my guy...both brothers have

Took a very long time but he finally stepped up. No more 154 pounders. 2 guys that ducked Alvarez fighting for 3rd place. Not bad at all.

Jermall Charlo's chin will definitely be tested in this fight. This is the best matchup of his career. The key is going to be how well does he takes a punch. If he passes the test then he should breeze by Derevyanchenko in a firefight.

you say that Canelo has been matched well, to avoid certain fighters

but the fighters that he beat are better than the fighters you say he avoided

None of those fighters you mentioned are exciting to watch or bring anything new against Canelo. If Canelo was avoiding tough fights he would not have fought Ggg twice when most fans were saying he was ducking him. Andrade is a boring fighter in most paying customers eyes. Charlo is all talk and has no real substance when it comes to his opponents. BJS is a roller coaster and who knows if he will ever fight. I have not heard of any match up with Derev so that can always happen especially if Derev beats Charlo.

In the world of Prize fighting you need to bring something to the table if you want to fight the top dog. None of the fighters you mentioned stand out and come away as clear worthy opponents.
so who do you think is worthy opponent for canelo? Bivol?

My friend even if you beat him on cards, it will be a statement. Derevyanchenko gave hell of fights to Jacobs and GGG.

I think Derevy's activity bothered GGG more than anything. If he keeps up that pace vs Charlo, Charlo needs to line him up and connect big. Should be a good fight. If Charlo performs at all well then you can make a good case for him doing well/winning vs any of the top guys at MW.

I can't tell yet if he is going to line Derevy up and get him out of there...or if Derevy is going to break him down and stop him. If it goes 12 it will be a really rough fight.

Hard to hate on Canelo's last 5 fights...you can nitpick certain parts of those matchups like you can for anyone...but that is as solid of a 5 fight stretch as anyone in boxing currently.
