If Team Derev have any sense they will have insisted on full VADA from contract signing.
But I suspect cv19 will be used as an excuse why that didn't/couldn't happen!

Weird to me ppl thinking Charlo gets KO'd by Sergiy. (I mean it's boxing anything can happen but these signs point otherwise

      1. Sergiy has never stopped any elite opponent.

      2. Charlo has never been off his feet.

      3. Charlo has one of the best chins in boxing.

I'd like to see Charlo stop talking about GGG tho. That fight will never happen. Wouldn't be surprised if GGG retires after his next fight.

Andrade stepped away from fighting Charlo @ 154! His career has been, and continues to be, TRASH! Wasted talent!

This ought to be good, Charlo finally stepping up after fighting nobodies at MW.

                To be fair,
Charlo has never faced anyone close to Chenkos Caliber. As far as being off his feet, quality of his opponents has everything to do with that. One of the best chins in boxing? Let's not get ridiculous, again, quality of opposition has something to do with that. This is the fight where we are going to find out how good Charlo is, I would put him a slight favorite only because he's younger. Another reason would be that Chenko just came off a brutal fight with GGG that might of taken something from him, but who knows. I guess we will have our answers in September.

Good fight! Charlo sounds ready and he's right about people seeing it as a step up for him.
We know what SD is bringing but the fight will hopefully answer some questions about Charlo.

I favor Derevyanchenko as the smarter better boxer as long as he avoids taking too much punishment. Charlo is not great but he still hits hard enough to make a difference.
Now that is a good post,OST of these guys on here hate on the Charlos because they are talkative but these guys CAN fight and when they get buzzed they come back and fight harder. They may not have all the tools but just like against Korobov this guy was high level as an amateur and was an Olympian. He could fight but Charlo dug down and found a way to win. He has try to fight top level guys but I think it's more promotion than DUCKING which make these fights not happen. But him and Dev will be a good fight

None of those fighters you mentioned are exciting to watch or bring anything new against Canelo. If Canelo was avoiding tough fights he would not have fought Ggg twice when most fans were saying he was ducking him. Andrade is a boring fighter in most paying customers eyes. Charlo is all talk and has no real substance when it comes to his opponents. BJS is a roller coaster and who knows if he will ever fight. I have not heard of any match up with Derev so that can always happen especially if Derev beats Charlo.

In the world of Prize fighting you need to bring something to the table if you want to fight the top dog. None of the fighters you mentioned stand out and come away as clear worthy opponents.
a lot of hypocrisy with these points. Canelo did avoid ggg for nearly 2 years. Even gave up his belt as opposed to facing him and fought 3 much lesser opponents instead. He only stepped up once ggg turned 35 and only after brook and jacobs stepped up first and showed some vulnerability.

Canelo himself called andrade boring yet he and his fans ignore how boring his last 2 fights vs Jacobs and kovalev really were.

Canelo only wants people to bring something to the table when it's convenient. What did khan, Chavez Jr beefy Smith or Rocky fielding ever do to deserve a fight with the "top dog"? Ryder, murota and dirrell have all been mentioned as real options for Canelo, what have they ever done?
