His best win is close decision vs an old GGG.

Lets slow down the hype train.
Exactly. Quite a few of his wins are shady.

Hagler would outbox Canelo if he felt like it or KO him if he felt like it. Depends which day it is.

Could Hearns line up Canelo? If not I see this version of Canelo stopping Tommy late...exciting fight though.

Hagler Canelo would be a great great fight...slight edge to Canelo as I think he will be a little slicker than Hagler and nullify some of Hagler's activity edge.

SRL-Canelo would be a good one too...SRL is probably too active for Canelo, but I could see this version of Canelo hurting him.

Basically, Canelo is in all of those fights...I could see him winning all of them, going 2-2, or even losing all...I think he goes 3-1 in those 4, or 2-2.

Duran could pull an upset, and I would favor SRL to win...would favor Canelo over Hearns and Hagler at MW.

If any of those goes 12 rounds in Vegas though, Nelo is going 4-0 so who cares really.
you must be joking if both leonard and canelo put both there popularity’s leonard would wipe the floor with him , do you realise how big the fab 4 were in the 80’s......leonards Fame was on another planet in the height of his career.
Canelo would lose to hagler by stoppage.
Canelo would lose wide on points to leonard
Canelo would not go beyond 5 rounds with hearns....to long , to quick and to explosive
Canelo vs Duran....I cannot call it

no version of canelo would have beat Hearns or Marvelous. He would have a better chance against Duran because of the size difference. Still you guys are comparing a guy that no signature win in his resume. Arguably he should have a least two more loses on his record (Lara and ggg first fight was robbery) every time he has stepped up in class, he has struggled and please the kovalev fight was a disgrace.

I don't think I've seen anyone get as good of cards as Canelo does...Ward does too, but I mean moreso in Vegas and not in your literal backyard...I would have to watch SRL's fights with Hearns again to really score them...but he beat Hagler clean, and they didn't give him the fight vs Duran, did they? If that was Canelo, I'm sure he would have gotten the nod.

In any event, thanks for your opinions on how those fights would go...anyone saying Canelo has no shot in those fights is just kind of silly and not a very serious person, but thank you for giving your thoughts.

I thought GGG beat him twice...but he does have an official win over GGG on his resume, so that is a signature win officially.

Again...Hagler went 15 tight rounds vs older smaller Duran...he lost twice in his career early to guys much worse than Canelo...he got schooled by SRL at the end of his career, still was only 32 at the time of the fight I believe...a SRL who was inactive and moving up 13 pounds...he broke down Mugabi in 11 rounds...a Mugabi who came to fight Hagler.

I don't think Canelo would employ that same gameplan...anyone saying Canelo couldn't go 12 rounds with Hagler is an idiot...maybe he wouldn't, but the likelihood is that fight goes 12 rounds or even 15 (conditional on how Canelo's stamina holds up in 15 round fights.)

As I said earlier, Hearns would have a good shot to spark Canelo out early if he can line up a right hand...if he doesn't, he is likely getting stopped late, as Barkely did to him twice...Tommy's stamina was not the best and he would probably suffer a similar fate to what happened to Kovalev vs Canelo in their fight, if Canelo could make it that late.

Anyone saying Canelo has no chance vs those guys is just dumb...no offense.

Ginger loses to all of them. The only one he might beat is duran and thats mostly due to size

At 160, same day weigh-ins, and 15 rounds? Canelo loses to all four, and to Hagler by stoppage.
