Saul Alvarez VS Fab 4 Kings @ Middleweight

Alright how does Saul fare against the mighty 4?

Canelo isn’t undersized against any unlike Floyd

its a bit early imho for that comparison...
5 years ago we had posters trying to compare him vs the likes of trinidad, oscar, vargas, etc... and i was thinking lets make these comparisons when canelo turns 30 , but when you are getting ATGs in there i wouldnt put him with those yet, maybe when his career is over...
but once you have a fighter under 30 in those conversations you know you are witnessing something special...

Well Duran wasn't a MW, so not a fair fight for him...but honestly his activity would still give Canelo problems.

Could Hearns line up Canelo? If not I see this version of Canelo stopping Tommy late...exciting fight though.

Hagler Canelo would be a great great fight...slight edge to Canelo as I think he will be a little slicker than Hagler and nullify some of Hagler's activity edge.

SRL-Canelo would be a good one too...SRL is probably too active for Canelo, but I could see this version of Canelo hurting him.

Basically, Canelo is in all of those fights...I could see him winning all of them, going 2-2, or even losing all...I think he goes 3-1 in those 4, or 2-2.

Duran could pull an upset, and I would favor SRL to win...would favor Canelo over Hearns and Hagler at MW.

If any of those goes 12 rounds in Vegas though, Nelo is going 4-0 so who cares really.

Which ATGs has Canelo beat that make you think he'd even be able to compete with those guys?

His best win is close decision vs an old GGG.

Lets slow down the hype train.

Except SRL. SRL would be the A-side.

I thought about that...you really think SRL would get the nod over Canelo? Maybe you're right.

You could play that game with any of those guys man...besides Hearns, who did Hagler beat...his next best win is either a blown up Duran in 15 rounds in a close fight, or Mugabi who never beat anyone of note in his career (though I do think Marvin took something out of him that night)...Hagler also has 2 'bad' losses and then a rather embarrassing clear loss to SRL, who moved up 2 weight classes and was inactive for 3 years for that fight.

Hearns lost to Iran Barkley twice, once at MW...if Barkley could do it, surely Canelo would have a chance.

Druan is an ATG...at lightweight!! That's 25 pounds below 160...I don't see how anyone could say Canelo is anything less than a really good bet to beat Duran at 160.

SRL is an ATG, mainly for what he did at 147, and then his fight vs Hagler...I think that was SRL's only real fight at 160 anyway...unless you want to count his loss to Camacho.

So yeah I don't see how one doesn't give Canelo a good shot in all those fights...besides Hearns, he is probably the bigger man in all of those...by a good bit vs Duran, a decent amount vs SRL, and even a little bit vs Hagler.

15 rounds forget about Canelo he fades in twelve round fights.Canelo couldn’t stand the pressure from Ggg in the first fight and had to put on his track shoes .Hsglers pressure and iron chin would be to much in 12or15.Canelo is a great fighter but come on Hagler losing no way
