So you’re saying every elite level prospect having won an Olympic medal and becoming a professional boxer can’t or doesn’t move up in weight if They weren’t given a network like HBO? There are plenty of fights of GGG prior to HBO, and he was doing his thing on European networks just like any other pro fighter.

We need to stop making excuses. Just like Ward fighting a LHW in the Olympics switching with Dirrell cause he wasn’t skurred should be noted. He could’ve fought at 168 in Europe too.

Golovkin has passed his prime at relatively the right time. He was slowing down when he should have and he’s now basically done. For Canelo or Oscar to even “mention” his name now would be wrong. But not wrong enough for them to collect a decent paycheck.

There's certain posters that are making GGG threads unreadable due to there excessive fanboyism of canelo. Cut it out you kunts.

In both fights only one fighter was prime and it wasn't GGG.

              At roughly age 34.
So how come no one included HBO called out the loss of prime before he was given that gift decision against Jacobs? And if he was past prime the whole time who did he fight in his prime to deserve the accolades HBO put on him?
I am not an HBO employee so I am not accountable for what they say or don't say anymore than you are.

Btw- what’s your debate? I said he was a champion and a good fighter? So are you trying to tell me he is a top 25 all time great fighter? A guy who was lost his prime on the exact day he fought real competition? Isn’t that convenient. GTFOH with that BS.
The best sign a guy is losing an argument is when he tries to change the argument. I said none of those things. I said.....its ****** to suggest age didn't play a factor when he didn't start getting the really big fights until he was 34. Not that ****ing complicated.

Let them all make their money. I would prefer Canelo fought a younger guy like Charlo, Dervy or Andrade but going from BJS to GGG is still very good in terms of opponents. I would prefer GGG move up to see if he'd have more pep in his step from not having to cut to 160 since he hasn't really looked all that great at middleweight but he wants to shoot his last shot against Canelo. So let him.

Of course that isn't what I am saying. You know that...stop pretending otherwise.

Yes and he was trying to get them.
