The fight isn't marinating. Smith isn't someone the public is clamoring for Canelo to fight. Marination happens when its 2 guys that the public wants to see fight. Also, the dazn pie is getting smaller, not bigger, according to the dazn people.

Just want to see some consistency from you guys when it comes to costing fighters "life changing money."

Then why did you say Hearn told Smith to stick to a number. That is not turning down a fight.
Still you have provided zero evidence to show how you know this.

Making a stand and demanding you get paid fairly is the right thing to do.

And again, that fight is still alive and well, and will be bigger in the future with some marinating.
Smith is yet to tap into the UK market, hug money to be made there.

Did Smith get KOed by a gatekeeper?
    Is Kownacki a world champion?

At the time there was no fighter lined up for Kownacki, just that he would be on a Haymon show.

Haymon really doesn't have his best interests at heart.
Nothing suggests an offer for that amount was made. This indicates they reached out to see if he was available and found out he had already signed a contract to appear on a fight in NYC where he is the crowd favorite and a big ticket seller.

If you are suggesting Haymon let him out the contract, maybe he could of but when was the last time anyone did that without a lawsuit?

When BoxingScene.com reached out to Kownacki’s manager, however, Keith Connolly revealed that Kownacki has already signed a contract a fight on one of Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions shows on an unspecified date this summer, probably at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Doesn't look like Haymon prevented anything according to this site. More lies from you as usual.

Hearn was clearly involved in all the negotiations. He and gallagher had to have cost callum life changing money.
The quote is in the article. He says nothing about a signed fight. He says Haymon made a deal.

“The rumors of Adam Kownacki fighting Anthony Joshua on June 1st are not true,” Connolly told BoxingScene.com. “Al Haymon and I have made a deal for a fight sometime this summer for Adam to fight on PBC, in New York, where he has a huge fan base. Details of the fight will be released over the next couple weeks.”

        Haymon prevented the Joshua fight.

They rejected the deal as has been reported numerous places. I have provided the same proof robbie has.

They didn't demand to get paid, they turned down the biggest offer Callum ever got. That is by definition costing him life changing money, especially given it was more than the alleged $6 mil kownacki may have been offered.

Callum is not big enough to marinate anything. No one cares about him. Stop making it seem like this is someone fans are clamoring to fight Canelo. He is an afterthought and there are no big names at 168 that will propel him into the spotlight.

Kownacki is a proven seat filler, something Callum isn't, even in the British market.

It's clear hearn cost him life changing money. Its also clear you guys only care about life changing money if it allows you to criticize PBC.

              and......

that boxing blueprint in a nutshell.

EVERY PROMOTER DOES THIS, not just PBC.

All of Smiths fans are calling him out for getting beat by John Ryder. I'd say that's about on par.

That's the problem. Haymon is supposed to be his manager, not promoter. He's using loop holes t break the Ali act.

Having a signed contract in place isn't blocking a fight from happening.

A heavyweight clash between Alexander Povetkin and David Price is very close to being finalized for the undercard of the heavyweight unification clash between Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker on March 31 in Cardiff, Wales. Joshua promoter Eddie Hearn told the Liverpool Echo newspaper that “We’re nearly there. Price has agreed, Povetkin has agreed and we hope that by the end of this week we will be announcing Povetkin versus Price at the stadium for the WBA Inter-Continental title and the number one position with the WBA for Anthony Joshua…this is a massive opportunity for David Price, don’t blink in that one.”
